One of the most interesting fish room tours I've watched on youtube. Amazing selection of fish and I really like that you ended it with the close up of the nile tilapia. That was my favorite fish from part 1
Hi Jason, I am a subscriber on your channel and have been watching your videos for about 6 months now. I just wanted to compliment you for your excellent videos and your fish room. I mainly collect Africans and have been in the hobby for quite awhile. I just wanted to say keep up the great work and I look forward to seeing future videos.
Great tour! Hair algae tip.... put hydrogen peroxide in a spray bottle, when you do a water change, hit it directly with the hydrogen peroxide let it sit for at least 5 mins or more, it will melt away in about a week. Works really well.
Excellent fish room and part1 is also very nice. If possible, then plz also make a video on your own killifish or anabantoids fish room. Most of your fishes are cichlids, by the way thanks for sharing😊.
Quite a big bunch of fishes. .I love them all. .but the ocellatus are the best one in my opinion. ..The angel in your old fish tank. .is that a Peru altum? He looks quite beautyful ..but for this fish you need a high aquarium. .So much fish to see. ..wow. .still amazing
Get a 300 gallon stock tank move the couch....?...pool filter sand ,diy filter and nice Driftwood in the middle, those barbs would show and live out very well?
Rah! Rah! Rah! for Eartheaters!! Seeing all your tanks is like seeing a great fishstore - lots of different fish; not 30 tanks of cories and 30 of guppies (though that would be a great fishroom too!). Some fish you have had a looooong time and some you just bought. Great variety! Those gold oscellatus could wreak havoc in your fishroom and your life. They'll get you fired from your job and your wife will leave you.. you should send them to me... I like the jungle val tank! Sigh... so many great fish and tanks! I especially like the stories that go along with each tank. I'm no expert; but, could those be Midas cichlids instead of Red Devils?
I've seen stuff on DIY indoor ponds, but I'd be a little hesitant to try it myself (even if I had the space). If something leaked, the water damage could be severe.
You folks have beautiful tanks and fish, by far my favorite! I never thought a lot about Cichlids, aside from Angelfish, because I just never had them and they were foreign to me. Lately I have been thinking a lot about them though I am not sure why. Something else I like to see is family involvement. I am big on encouraging young people to Be in the hobby. In a year or two I hope to have an aquarium set up for my grandchildren, so they learn about something besides their video games. Do you manage to find time to enjoy your fish? I don't mean to start any kind of heated discussion, I am just wondering if folks as busy as you, can still enjoy the fruits of your labour. Do you have a dream tank you have not achieved yet? For me either one of the Severum, or a (going to get this wrong) the Oarhu that Joey has. Thanks for letting me ramble on.
Thank you Kerry! I try to find time to just watch the fish almost every day. It's so easy to get caught up in maintaining a fish room, that it can be easy to forget why it's there in the first place. My dream tank is a very large Tanganyikan tank. The only thing that prevents me from doing it is I can't get the tank down the stairs. : -)
@@PrimeTimeAquatics willpower and a chainsaw? Seriously I have seen my limitations for size. But then I saw a video by a guy Wojo77 he built a large plywood bottom tank in place, that I thought was amazing. I am now trying to forget it.
Set up a indoor pond for them .I see many fish keepers do that with intex type pools . The small square looking ones . Nice big piece of driftwood and some plants you should be good .Just remove the couch and get some comfortable chairs to go around 😊 Is Roger a Flowerhorn ?
Very cool. Love all the Geos and Severums. Unfortunately I'm not allowed to keep fish anymore where I live and had to rehome mine. What kind of stone is that on the right in the 40B with the Cryptohero Sajica?
Would it be possible to leave the 3 old fish in that tank. Then move out the severums and other fish. I know it sounds simple. However would allow to keep them if the tank would then have enough room.
I have a 75 gallon with 2 geophagus surinamensis , a bosemani rainbow, Malawi eye biter , an angelfish , pictus cat and a red tail do you know if I will have to upgrade when the fish get bigger ? And how many gallons do you recommend
The tank size should last you a while. Keep an eye on the red tail shark and malawi eye biter. Surinamensis get majestic-looking finnage and the last thing you want is one of them bullying those fish. My gut feeling is those two fish will have to be removed when they get older.
Prime Time Aquatics thankyou for the reply ! Malawi eye biters as far as I know r predatory fish but peaceful and the red tail minds its own business but like u said it’s still small right now but I appreciate the response
i think your red head tapajos are aggressive because you keep too small of a group- i would be looking to keep 8-10 red heads in a 75and like 15 in a 125- same thing with the CA "eartheaters" 12 meeki in a 75 is a great colony to start with
It's worth to save for new tank as used tanks my have not been carried on a board to avoid torsion pressure that stresses the joints. Sponge filter is good and cheap but if you cant afford even that you might diy a sponge filter along sponge is new and no lead not chemicles and the sponge filter principle is respected then you're at a good start.
Evan Tripp if your from the Chicago land area im selling cute ranchu goldfish and a 75 gallon with filters and the whole set up :) the tank is only 8 months old and in great condition :) I have to move and can’t have them anymore :)
You shouldnt breed two species of peacocks or haps in the same tank. Gonna produce hybrids. That also doesnt look like a eureka red. Looks like a lwanda hybrid.
When I was pulling Red Empress out of our 75 there were only male Red Empress in the tank at the time. At this point I am specifically trying to produce hybrids out of our 75 gallon peacock tank. The OB's we get are amazing! The Eureka Red in the 55 came from a master breeder in our club and they are a true strain.
Dude no joke biggest bala Shark I’ve ever seen! Had to comment still watching haha
He’s a big dude, but they can get much bigger in the right set-up!
One of the most interesting fish room tours I've watched on youtube. Amazing selection of fish and I really like that you ended it with the close up of the nile tilapia. That was my favorite fish from part 1
Thank you!
Please make a video on how you set up that room, it looks super clean and beautiful!
I actually documented a lot of the fish room build as I built out the other side and added tanks. : -)

Part 2 loved it mate. Great video. :)
Awesome tour! Love the big boys. 😍
Thank you!
Your tanks are so WoW ! So many different kinds of species. Love all of it!
Thank you!
I totally agree, Geos rock!!
I love love love your fish room.

Good tip! : -)
Great tour! So much diversity & great looking fish!
Thanks!
Love your fish room! Thanks for sharing!
What a gorgeous angelfish. Amazing room! 😍
Thank you!
That huge Angelfish is a beauty!
really, really beautiful fish room congrats, i really enjoyed part 1,2 thank you so much sharing 💯💯
Thank you!
Been looking forward to this. Are there any fish species you don’t own? 🤣 So many species, so much diversity in your fish room. Love it! 👍
Haha. Love keeping a variety. 😀
So fun, thanks for sharing. It looks like a work to keep all those tanks.
It's a lot of fun. The whole family helps out!
Nice big angelfish!!
Room is looking fantastic!
Appreciate it, thank you!
Excellent fish room and part1 is also very nice. If possible, then plz also make a video on your own killifish or anabantoids fish room. Most of your fishes are cichlids, by the way thanks for sharing😊.
Right now we only have two killifish. : -)

Thank you! I actually don’t remember where I got that angel. It’s not an Altum, but it sort of looked like one when it was younger.😀
Maybe 3-4 years old when I shot this video?
Get a 300 gallon stock tank move the couch....?...pool filter sand ,diy filter and nice Driftwood in the middle, those barbs would show and live out very well?
Those Nanoluteus are very nice, on my short list for fish to order in one day! fishr oom is looking great. nice job guys
Thank you! Ya, their eyes really stand out.
Rah! Rah! Rah! for Eartheaters!!

Those gold ocellatus attack our hands as soon as they go in the tank! I tend to lean towards Red Devils based on the way they’ve matured. 😀
So many Cichlids! … It would be nice to see an entire school of big Bala Sharks, but of course that would take a very large tank or pond.
That would be cool - wish I had a huge pond in a tropical climate!
I've seen stuff on DIY indoor ponds, but I'd be a little hesitant to try it myself (even if I had the space). If something leaked, the water damage could be severe.
LOVE those Geo Tapajos
Thanks man! Glad to see you're back posting videos again. : -)

Is it wrong that I’ve actually contemplated that? Haha
@@PrimeTimeAquatics Beautiful fish ! I couldn't part with them . So my house would have a new pool feature 😁🤣 Can't wait to see what you decide .
Beautiful surinamensis specimen. How old is it here?
I think around 3-4 years old?
Love it great video can't wait til the next one awesome job
Another great vid, can I ask you what you feed your fish?
Thanks! All kinds of stuff, flakes, pellets, frozen and freeze-dried foods and live baby brine!
Very cool. Love all the Geos and Severums. Unfortunately I'm not allowed to keep fish anymore where I live and had to rehome mine.

I’ve thought about that, but their problem is they need a much larger tank in my opinion. I’d love to see the tin foil barbs in an 8ft tank!
@@PrimeTimeAquatics thank you I understand that. Hope it works out for you.
Unreal fish man!!!!!!!
Thank you!

Prime Time Aquatics and how do you tell male from female regarding geophagus surinemnsis ?
Females have a little less color and the finnage isn't quite as long.
Great video Thanks...I been watching you for awhile now, Question do you use Ro/di Water for any of your tanks?
We just use tap water. Comes out of the tap at 175 TDS and 7.8 pH, which works well for most of the fish we keep. 😀 Thanks for watching!
In a 75 gallon setup, what geophagus species would you recommend? I'm looking to do a group.
I’d probably do tapajos or something similar like Acarichthys heckelii.
i think your red head tapajos are aggressive because you keep too small of a group- i would be looking to keep 8-10 red heads in a 75and like 15 in a 125- same thing with the CA "eartheaters" 12 meeki in a 75 is a great colony to start with
I actually pulled a bunch of eggs, so I'm hoping to build that colony up!
I think your 150 superstar is definitely the trio xtra latge fish
Were are you guys located?
Chicago suburbs
When do you you guys have show and auctions
They vary. Check out gcca.net and greenwateraquaristsociety.org
wow! love the room!
Thank you!
That male Betta will only chase another Betta? Won't even bother guppies?
Sometimes they do, just depends on the betta.
Why is there a Frontosa?
Because I like him and it works (still there and no issues).
Hi. Ur fish are to cool
Thank you!
How long does it take u to edit and what app do u use
I use iMovie, which has been working well so far. Editing doesn’t take too long provided it get the audio right the first time around. 😀
Pretty much all my tanks are odd mix lol but they all get along
Hey I love your channel I want a tank SOOOOOO bad but I just don’t have the money
Check your local Craigslist or look at garage sales ect . Somebody is always looking to get rid of a tank . Good luck.
Keep saving! It’ll be worth it.
Tanks are cheap if u watch for petcos dollar per gallon sale
Evan Tripp if your from the Chicago land area im selling cute ranchu goldfish and a 75 gallon with filters and the whole set up :) the tank is only 8 months old and in great condition :) I have to move and can’t have them anymore :)
U need to give them Red Devils a bigger tank.
And they are getting one soon!
Nice videos
The big geo is an altifrons...not surinamensis
papasmurf986 I agree. It was sold to me as a surinamensis.
I subscribed for the beard... Oops I meant fish, for the FISH
Glad you're here either way. : -)
Nice tanks.
Research Flatearth.
Make the tinfoil barbs and bala shark a pond
20:06 Nobody puts Roger in a corner.
Get a bigger tank for those babies!
Awesome
Leave the big fish
12k already
I love you jadon
Well I'm the 3rd to comment
So boring, tiny fish.
