I am from Mindanao, I grew and live during martial law era and as I saw it, Philippine economy was at its best, compared to succeeding administrations before Pres Duterte come in. During Duterte administration it can't be denied, our economy started to soar again. Despite the pandemic, infrastructure projects for development continue while attending the needs of the Filipino people.

I have been watching the street polls and even though they only sample mostly the karaniwang mamamayan, I would say that it reflects people's sentiments. Their response to Martial Law was not negative, actually the reverse. I myself think that the failure of the previous presidents after Marcos was one big factor. Dr. Contreras is brilliant.
