Be carefully not to strip nut. Mine is 18mm not 19. Used a 19 like vid said and rounded off nut corners. Was able to use the correct 18mm and get it off. Mine is a 2023. Maybe size changed?
Any time you raise or lower your ride in the rear you should always check the belt tension and adjust if needed back to stock specs for tightness. This way it doesn't get too tight or loose and cause you problems.
Yes, once you install lowering kit it will become lower. The 1" kit will drop the bike 1" at rear of fender. No, the 1" kit will not drop the bike 2"...
Thank you. I’m about to order this product. I am 5’4 and I want my both feet reach the ground flat. Also, do I have to adjust anything after installing lowering kit?
That really depends on your riding style. Any lift will increase lean angle and any lowering will reduce it. If you really lay your ride over when riding, then you will scrape more when lowered.
@@kodlinusa6155 I am looking to lift this bike if I get it, In it's stock form this bike should have roughly 34° of lean angle and I was hoping to up that by a noticeable amount
@@kodlinusa6155 Ide be game to buy a 1 3/4 to 2 inch! This bike is way to low for a 6’5 rider. And needs way more clearance to match the sportiness of the motor and chassis
Simply put, the point of a lowering kit is to lower the bike...lol! Why would somebody want to lower the bike? There are several reasons but here are two popular reasons I can think of, 1) they like the look, 2) they want their feet to sit flat on the ground.
Make a videofor the front led lights and also for the rear tail tidy install 😁

Thanks for the input! Now where did I put my glasses...😂😂
does this put stress on the belt that drives the motorcycle? Could it snap off because of this?

How much do these kits affect the lean angle

How much higher can it lift the bike? It’s way to short for me stock
Kodlin part K66028 lifts the Sportster S 1" at the rear.
@@kodlinusa6155 any plans to offer a 1 1/2 to 2 inch lift?
@@toofastnobrakes There are no plans at this point, but things can change.

Just raises the bike... or do you also get additional travel out of the rear?

@@rickreiling3095 Awesome!😎
Does the lock stand need to be shortened on Pan America Special if lowering. Hope I didn’t miss that in the video. Thx.

2 inches lift possible in this bike?
We cannot say if it is possible to get a 2" lift, we have not tested a XLS with a 2" lift and we do not offer the parts to do so.
