Got back on this a few weeks ago after many years away - I think it's insanely underrated. The first time I rode it, it was my favorite in the park (only Candymonium and Wildcat's Revenge hadn't been built yet), and even know, it's my #2 after Wildcat. It does so much in such a short period of time, but it's so intense that if it were longer, it might be uncomfortable. I always said it reminded me of a mini Kingda Ka/Dragster launch and top hat but with bonus inversions. We also got our first front row ride this summer, and that was incredible (love the back too!).
Really liked the launch a lot. My 2nd favorite launch (to powder keg at silver dollar city). Really fun layout especially the snake dive. A solid 8.5/10.
You should check out stealth if you ever visit thorpe park in the UK; 0-80mph in 1.9 seconds, pretty intense! It's only a top hat though, basically like a 200ft version of Kingda Ka.
When you look up its information I can't really fault its length. Storm Runner was breaking new ground at the time being the first hydraulic launch coaster with inversions.

I definitely will!

Defo
When it's warmed up, the two valleys in between the inversions offer grayout inducing g's. It's almost too much.
Sounds great!
It was never that way on our trip, even later in the day, I can only imagine how much better it would be. It was already great running “slow”
Are there safety belts as well or just over the shoulder restraints?
