When I was singing with The Weatherfords, we were at this singing that year. I remember walking into the building that afternoon and hearing Billy Todd blow holes in the floor with his low notes during sound check. The time off from full time traveling didn't hurt his ability to sing. Billy was a great bass singer and a class act.
I am so glad that I can go back and watch my daddy (Tommy Atwood) and remember growing up with this kind of singing. Thank you so much for putting this video up
I heard London Parris sing this as a fill-in for Buddy Liles at a concert in Huntingdon, Tennessee.
I miss this kind of music. Billy Todd will greatly be missed.
