Mazdaspeed3 Passenger Motor Mount Install & Test

- Not too difficulty of an install on my 2012 Mazdaspeed 3. This was a JBR Passenger Motor Mount 88Duro. The vibrations are brutal for the first couple hundred miles. Im almost a thousand miles since install and it is much better.

Don't take the mount out by using the torx bolts... They are only intended to have a small amount of force put through them to install the studs. Put a 17 on the nuts and take them off like that otherwise they will just strip. If they do come out with the nuts use some loc tite to keep them in
PB blast or WD-40 Specialist spray anything difficult on this car the day before the project. So many torx would be saved if folks did this lol

What were the symptoms of the broke motor mount? Bc I have a Ralliart 05 that definitely have the passenger mount fucked up. Everyone says oh vibration and stuff and yea, I feel it but my main preoccupation is that when Im in 1st gear I floor the gas pedal and if I dont go to 2nd the car start to rumbling like crazy. Do you think could be just the motor mount? Maybe I have more than one fcked up. Nice vids man, keep it up.
Just have someone rev it while you look under the hood. If you see significant movement then your mounts are broken or loose. My mount just completely broke and it was obvious because of the fluid.
Where did you jack on the motor?
I struggle a little bit more with the transmission mount but you just have to work your magic on the jack FYI buy a good jack lol
I have the same issue with mine. I saw a jack in the bottom of your engine bay. where did you jack the engine?
What did you do with the ground wire?

Yep.. super hard to clean too. Picked up some degreaser yesterday lol. Car meet vlogs..most definitely in the future!
May I ask how much you paid for your car? I'm looking into getting one and seeing what a fair price is!
If you're looking to buy one I wouldn't pay over 16k for one with more than 30-40k miles
I bought mine 2011 tech pack 86k miles for 14k a little bit over 15k after taxes,
I paid $6600 for my gen 1, for under 100k miles this probably the cheapest you should buy a Speed 3 at.

I always understood they were aftermarket. Mine is just the stock black one.
