I don't know why it took GameFreak so long to finally have Blastoise shoot water out of its canons. For all of the Gen 1 pandering they've done, you'd think a Gen 1 starter would have a special animation for it.
It'd be cool if Blastoise using water gun looked like G-Max Hydro Cannon on a smaller scale. Imagine his water gun being personally buffed and resembling a machine gun or something.
