No i feel you on the dior blushes, i also love the blushes, so much so that i bought almost all the colors. Totally understand you feeling guilty tho, bcuz they are indeed really pricey. Also I love your videos smm, i watch them the time❤❤❤
I don't think that amount of product can justify a crazy price for me. I'd rather have smaller sizes na d smaller prices. Unless you have one in each product category and only buy makeup when you run out of something, you will likely never finish a blush, giant bronzer, or highlighter, etc.

For me it's Natasha denona, I love the brand but always await a sale. Pat McGrath is another brand that I think should only be bought in the sale. I love CT lipsticks, but yeah her prices are expensive, however she is so popular for sure. I was never a fan of fashion brands like YSL, Chanel, Guerlain etc who are doing makeup, I much prefer to use makeup only makeup brands rather than fashion brands dipping their toe into makeup as I feel they aren't as good

Also loveeee the tir tir collab I’ve been waiting for this😂 also that shade of the charlotte tilbury blush might be duped my the elf camo blushes in shade coral crush. I’m not 100% that it’s an exact dupe but it’s the first thing I thought of😊
I know I couldn’t justify the prices of much these brands unless they were on sale, but even then most of these products esp the luxury brands (Dior, Miss Charlotte, ysl made me have to pop antihistamines to use) are scented that I can’t even use them 😭 makes me wonder if the price point goes into making products luxury scented on top of being made in Italy. Jokes aside, I think providing your opinions on solid products you love that are higher end while also pushing the mindfulness of sales and costs? It’s a good approach and I’ll always appreciate that from you. Ik I’m personally very critical and anti consumerist, but the reality is, I can’t avoid consumerism in a consumerist society it’s unavoidable. What I can do though is be conscious of what I want and need for myself and my makeup collection, high end or not.
The only Charlotte Tilbury I own and still use is her powder highlighter in Moonlit Glow! It's a glow within, but hate the packaging. Her liquid highlighters were pretty, but also hated the packaging, and broke me out! Her matte lipsticks were hella drying, but her KISSING and Hot Lips (the satin ones) were decent, but could spend that on a Dior Rouge lipstick, or a bunch of drugstore lipsticks that I've used for years.
The only Charlotte Tilbury I own is the Eyes to Mesmerize in Oyster Pearl, because my husband gifted it to me. Her products are not made for my skintone so she gets no support from me. I do not buy from brand who don't acknowledge my skin tone exists.
i also love the dior blushes 😭 I use pink lilac it's my perfect cool shade I love it and it smells amazing i've never been a huge blush girl because i could never find a pale pink or light color payoff dior got me tho (i've never paid full price tho i buy from resellers or on sale)
No top makeup artist uses Charlotte Tilbury, it’s very overrated compared to so many other quality brands. Dior went through a really bad patch around 10 years ago, there wasn’t any quality in their products. Saying that I had my makeup done by their top makeup artist but he used the products very differently to what they’re sold as. I really don’t care about packaging I just want quality products. I don’t rate hourglass very highly, when they were originally brought out they were different and great products but they have fallen behind now, as there’s much better quality products out there. Pat McGraphy is worth every penny

Same! I was hoping the caliray blushes would dupe the CT but nope. I like elf's liquid blush but it's slightly too glowy for my taste. 😅
