    Thank you for bringing this product to my attention.
    You did so with a edit print on the video-
    -however, I think you should make clear that chelated iron works so much better than granular iron to include my personal experience.
    The TH-cam channel The Grass Factor claims that iron and I believe it was also magnesium and maybe a couple others will rust and become relatively unavailable to the root system in a quick order.
    That channel went on to say that chelated iron applications were very high in efficacy. I therefore will be only making foliar applications of iron and magnesium and boron and copper. I have to get some Max Pak or equivalent because my Miracle-Gro which has these aforementioned micronutrients would also dump a ton of nitrogen on the grass and I don't want to do such a nitrogen application pushing the grass in the months of July and August on my cool season grass here in Chicago.
    So foliar over granular people. Sometimes the more expensive product is much better than less expensive product.
    And that damn Ironite weighs so much that my handheld spreader can't really deal with much of it so I have to constantly add some as it spreads the product out.

    I agree. I couldn't believe the results i got when i used it before the 4th of July. How long did your app's color last? Your lawn is looking great!

    Thanks for a great video... I've been using Super Juice with added chelated iron this summer, but the color isn't where I want it . I'm going to try this and see how my lawn responds.

    this is fantastic results, thank you for sharing this video ... sorry I have a question ... so this 1 x 3lbs bag will be enough say for a 10000 square feet lawn?

    • @TheRealLawnFather
      @TheRealLawnFather  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, the application rate is 1-2 oz of product per 1000 sqft. So at one ounce per thousand it covers 48,000 sqft and at max rate of 2oz/1000 it covers 24,000.

      Needs to be a back pack sprayer. Liquid irons are always a foliar application. I did not water mine in.

    • @TheRealLawnFather

      Like an idiot I used a hose end sprayer on one spot. I wasn’t thinking at all, the rest I applied it correctly with my Chaplin sprayer. You should use a backpack sprayer to apply this since iron is a foliar app. I went max rate at 2oz/1000sqft

    Iron is always going to make your lawn deep green for at least a few days, BUT never over apply it! It will drop your soil pH insanely and also "burn" your lawn out and makes it a brown sludgy mush... Also always clean EVERYTHING after using products with iron (and I mean everything, your side walk, tools, etc. anywhere it could come in contact with and is not your lawn), as they can leave pretty bad rust marks which you can't remove later on.

    • @mcass777
      @mcass777 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I have read you can micro dose iron and other fertilizers every 3 to four weeks all season and avoid burning while training the lawn feed regularly. Besides, lawn care companies fertilize when ever the schedule says they are supposed to fertilize so they get paid. Lighter and more frequent applications are fine if the grass is consistently paid attention to! This video is for someone who is interested in a full season of lawn care, not a one Saturday fix in July. Yes, that person will likely burn out an already crappy lawn! Like you said, PH is super important and if you don’t know what going on in your lawn, you’re likely to have major issues!
