I was searching for the best version of the Jiminy Cricket character "singing" WYWUAS and ran across this. REALLY enjoyed it!! For some reason though, I swore to God this was Justine Bateman at first {some facial similarities with Jessica Lundy]. They were both actually born in 1966 only a month apart.

I remember when my sister and I watched this movie all the time when we were kids. And one time, out neighbor Steve was in the house and he caught this scene. He got the biggest kick out of Julie's face while Fred was singing. He said, "I would sing like that if it got a girl to look at me like that."
My most favorite scene, it's so romantic, there is nothing more sweet and romantic when a man loves to sing and do it so passionately as he did. This movie is fantastic , I only wish it won awards. I wish he sang the full song. Does he sing any others beside this and If I was king of the forest? Did he have singing lessons..he's amazing. Thanks for posting!!!

This was all Harland’s idea, as he punched up the script. He wanted Julie to actually have a way to connect to him, and not just fall for him without a reason.
If all of the Disney classic films have been connected because of the wishing star. Does this mean that Rocketman is also connected to them because of the star's appearance here?
