That o.s 18 engine flys. I’m looking to order my first nitro. After watching your video I’m get an fw06. Can you make a video show how to put that o.s. 18 engine and a build sheet. Thx 🙏
yah totally! when the weather gets nice where i am, i will make a video fixing it after that crash! lol have to put on a new engine mount and rear shock tower and fix a couple things, but all that was really done to this fw-06 was an engine swap adn they are fun little cars for sure! having a smaller car like this as ur first nitro or first rc in general is a little limiting with where u can drive it, so if all u have is black top or concrete to drive on then go for it! but if u have property or fields i suggest something a little more well rounded. but good luck and i hope u have fun with w.e u decide to get!

Keep up the good work and sorry hear you crashed but that's kinda what happens with these things luckily and hopefully you you can get parts and have it up and running around in no time. A great car, congratulations I also have a Kyosho FW06, so I'll take this opportunity to ask you a question, can the factory differentials and gears support the power and torque of a .18 engine? As far as I was told, the maximum engine that can be installed in the FW06 with all the factory parts is a .15, but the truth is that when I saw your video I was surprised.
yah honestly, it can take it without an issue, besides blowing tires and maybe slamming it into a wall HAHA! but yah the kyosho can handle it with eas, idk who told you that, but it might be some miss information! and i hope u the best of luck with yours, and hope u have a blast with it!
Damn that Rc flies. Quick question new to the Rc world. Should I get a used rs4 with the o.s 18 engine or a used rs4 with a f4.6 v2 engine ?? Which is faster and better
i mean the os .18 u cant go wrong with, as you can see haha, im not too familiar with 4.6 hpi engine but i do know they arent the easiest to tune but once dialed in they are pretty nice, the thing about O.S engines is , their carbs are 👍 and really easy to find that perfect tune, but thats my opinion and im sure a lot of people will say otherwise or have different experiences, but in the end get w.e ur gut goes with bc im sure u will make it work..... good luck hope u enjoy it all

as for speed, it depends on ur tune but spec wise it looks like the 4.6 revs out in a higher rpm so u might get a better top speed out of it

yah stock gearing, it has on OS 18 cvr in it
