Suga used to b-boy til he injured his shoulder in an accident. He had chronic pain from it until he got surgery a couple years ago. Even though in pain he still did all those shoulder and arm movements. you should do the Danger dance practice.

The energy in On dance practice is so wild that the first (and second and third lol) time I watched it, I teared up and it skyrocketed to top 3 for a while lol. And I slept on Boy In Luv for the longest because it isn't one of their songs I play a lot...but the choreo 🤯

Their concerts are 2.5 to 3 hours long with no opening act. They do full choreography for almost every song (or they're running around the stage engaging the audience) WHILE singing and rapping live! These guys used to (still do?) practice singing while running on treadmills to help with their endurance and voice stability.

J-Hope was an accomplished hip hop street dancer prior to joining BTS.

J-Hope is a hip hop dancer. He was in a battle crew before BTS. Jimin also learned hip hop and had some dance battles as well. Suga did some beat boy when he was younger, and JK like to try some as well. J-Hope has MV's called Hope On The Streets where he is just freestyling and they are awesome. Jimin and JK join him in a couple.
Underpaying Jimin there a litte. Jimin is the only member who is a classically trained dancer and was top student he also learned popping and locking and is also a black belt in Taekwondo and is a Kendo master having studied it for 8 years. He is extremely talented and is a man who everyone falls for no matter your gender or age. Jhope is an amazing dancer and has said he learned a lot from watching Jimin and visa versa.
@@mrsta8233 I am aware of all that, thank you. Been an ARMY since 2017. I was just trying to keep my comment shorter and not overly repetitive. New reactors get very inundated with information from ARMY so I was not trying to add a ton more to it.

@@mrsta8233 Jimin is not classically trained. He had only 16 months of training in modern dance, far from being well-trained, 16 months is only enough for intermediate level and mastering the basics.
Seo Taiji concert - BTS guest starred and Jimin and Hobi did some breakdancing!
The truly impressive thing here is that they do this on stage while singing and rapping live. No reliance on backing tracks.
You have gotten so many good suggestions already, but let me throw in my couple of favorites. For the best dance practice, it has to be Danger. Such a fantastic choreo and the boys are so precise! And they do goof around at times, one of my fave vids are of baby BTS fooling around, dancing to RUN DMC's 'It's Tricky'. Such a fun video that showcases their dancing abilities and synchronization.

If you watch the video of On live at Grand Central Terminal - you get to see them dancing and singing live, and the camera doesn't cut away immediately after, so you see how tired they are. It's a great performance. 😁

It was just posted today, and it is only a 45 sec clip, but look up, jhope dancing to Blue Check with Jay Park. I promise you won’t regret it. Hobi’s feet haven’t stopped moving since Lollapolooza.

no I would definitely react to their MVs too! It’s just that’s how I got onto bts in the first place reacting to their dance videos but now I’ve done the guide and got to know the fellas a bit better I’ll definitely get onto their mvs too! 😁💜🙏🏽
Another one that takes a lot of energy to do is their Danger dance practice, and one that is like watching poetry in motion is their Spring Day dance practice as they don't dance in their MV. I'm sure many have already asked you to watch Black Swan which is more artfully danced as well as the song Let Go which is from their Japanese tour. I like the live version on BangtanTV, not the stage version but the BTS group version where you can see ALL of the members, the stage mix takes away from the overall effect of all the members and more individual which takes away from their performance as a whole.
So the live version of both black swan and let go? Those two are good ones ? 🙏🏽💜
@@DIMASWORLD The Late Late show with James Corden Black Swan was their debut of their version of it. It was influenced by the Black Swan Art Video that was pre-released prior to BTS version. It was danced by a ballet/contemporary dance group in bare feet and to classical instruments. BTS version includes some of the ballet/contemporary dance style and also done while in bare feet. There was a video of BTS watching this art film video where they decided that Jimin should be the one who dances the main character because they knew he had gone to school for contemporary dance.
The Let Go version on BangtanTV which is a channel that is made for BTS and Army, has the performance, but watch the BTS focus version as it will show the whole group performing, whereas some other videos keep changing camera angles which every 3 seconds is annoying to watch the full performance.
The Spring Day dance practice is like watching art in motion as you being a dancer will appreciate the multiple timing patterns and choreography changes, including wave and ripple effects which this group is so good at doing. It reminds you of why 7 members is the perfect number for this group as it can do many things with the beat and timing of melodies.

every time I watch BST dance practice, they always remind me of elastic band or yoyo or magnet 😂 idk, it's just the way they first formed tight, then spread out (while jumping and turning) then back to their close form again, like they were magnet to each other.. just reminds me those things 😅

Hi, I am back. Good reaction, ty. So glad you liked it. Great song. Adore it. Suga used to be a bboy before shoulder injury. JK can do some of it too. I think they all learn various choreo. Some study more if they want too. JK learns choreo from dance crews and other dancers. Jimin was amazing in this. His voice the dance the fit, chef's kiss! We learn in the MV that Suga can play the organ just as good as he can play the piano. He so awesome! All of them sound seductive just a pleasure for the ears. They look like they are in a museum to me too. =0] I was so surprised by the choreo when i saw it seperate. They leave a lot out. Fire!=0p Also, pls check out the explanation video for this MV. V is a fallen angel to me. He gives in to temptation all of them do. If u read the lyrics and pay attention to the symbolism the song is clearly about temptation not a relationship. I suppose you understand why this song has been used during lectures at uni haha. You're definitely on the right track, but there's sooo much more hidden in this song/mv. I love the explanation video by Don't Worry I'm Not Afraid ( th-cam.com/video/5tlgAUE6yjg/w-d-xo.html ). Fellow reactor Cedric Gegel actually did a great job breaking it down too, though he did it twice - first time for the more "apparent" meaning, and second time for the underlying meanings from the BU.

Some trivia about cinematagraphy for u guys 👀:
• RM reads a paragraph of "Demian" by Herman Hesse at 2:30 in the music video. And at the very beginning, RM is shown reading "Demian" by Herman Hesse.
• At the beginning of the video, Jin looks at a painting titled The Fall of the Rebel Angels by Pieter Bruegel.
• When Jungkook is dangling on the swing in the MV 0:20, the painting behind him is called The Lament of Icarus by Herbert James Draper.

Jhope isn't the dance leader BTS don't have a front person they give each other chance to shine, that's why you see them switch positions in their routines. It's important to let new army know that because all 7 of BTS are amazingly talented individually but together they are unstoppable.
@@mrsta8233 but he literally IS a dance leader, the members themselves call him by this title, just like RM is the leader of the group. it's just that the "leader" in their case doesn't mean a person in the front, but rather a person who's extremely engaged in helping the other members and takes care of little details behind the scenes.
