Most people's reasons for watching Fairy Tail could be for both of those reasons honestly, but I honestly like Fairy Tail even though I've only seen some of the first season so far.

@@dragonslayer9926 its based on the manga series by the same name. i started reading it but enjoy the anime stile more then the drawings in the manga. so when i heard long ago that the anime was confirmed i stopped trying to read it and began waiting - NOW HERE WE ARE
@@Ridermeduza It's a sequal show to the original one that ended a while ago, this one is going to be about the quest gildarts failed to do. I heard it's halfaway done so we can be prepared for even more fairy tail in anime format in the upcoming years.

@@aganbraganca4156 the story is only good until it gets ruined by horrible conclusions due to the writing. I actually enjoyed the humor at times and some of the side characters, who were the only reasons I finished the anime in the first place. Everyone else became annoying to the point where the story would’ve been more interesting, but would’ve given more purpose, if they died
