      their website though still in the fine print says 50gb cap..? But guess thats only on GSM as it says Unlimited All plans on Super LTE are uncapped and unthrottled. So im confused though guess becasue unthrottled and depriortized are two seperate things wait and what hotspot isnt even included in the 45.00 price! forget it

    US Mobile needs to include 2 GB hotspot data at full speed on their unlimited all plan and they'll capture a sizable market of people who use their laptop in the field for work or when traveling. They also need to get some distribution into the Multicarrier dealer space to get brand recognition out there. Mint is burning alot of $ to promote when they could have leaned on Independent Retailers.

So US Moblie is 55 and 50 with Visible so my bill is 105 all in my old Verizon was about 180 with taxes. One thing you need to add is that the hotspot does not give you any way to monitor your hotspot data usage. It just stops working and you have to chat with a rep to add more data. i wish you would let people know this. This could have been a deal-breaker for some people. I get better speeds with US Moblie and have had no issue with call quality.

    These are great plans but they are very hard to beat Visible's Party Pay. Verizon has excellent service here in NYC so my friend signed up with Visible and joined your party and can now enjoy unlimited data for only $25 a month on a single line.
    Personally at this time I think no one comes close to Visible's $25 price for unlimited data. Which is faster capped unlimited or uncapped unlimited

    • @StetsonDoggett
      @StetsonDoggett  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      "Capped" means there is a data speed limit. So naturally a plan with uncapped, or full speeds, would get faster speeds. Of course, speeds on any plan vary based on the network congestion and a variety of other factors.

      It depends on Verizon coverage and network performance in your area. You can check RootMetrics to see their reported coverage map and speeds. Or, if you get US Mobile GSM LTE the performance will be identical to what you have on Mint.

    Trying US Mobile for home internet, having no other viable options. But only the Super LTE plan is close to adequate for that, and I have gone through three different phones and still can't get them properly set up. Both US and Visible seem to have phone limitations, but Visible would seem to be the better option for heavy data, and easier to get the cheapest rate. I may have to buy a new phone and try them next.

    If you don't mind paying extra for a limited hotspot(compared to Visible) I guess US Mobile could be appealing. I just can't see leaving Visible. Great comparison. Please clarify whether the USB tethering is just as limited as the hotspot limitations you mentioned with US Mobile? Or is USB tethering truly unlimited with US Mobile?
