      This does not apply to the quiche lorraine but it was the only way I could see to add a comment.
      All pasteurized dairy is homogenized, which means it has added hydrogen. Even butter and skim milk are hydrogenated. Hydrogen is what mostly what makes fats into trans fats. The heat plays a part too, I think, but do not know for sure.
      In my latest research on hydrogen added to products, science had not yet found a way to remove this hydrogen from the body.

    Great video! Very honest, which I appreciate. One suggestion about eggs. If you get Pasture Raised eggs (not pasteurized, like you said about milk), as straight from a farm or straight out of the chicken as possible, you are much more likely to feel well and less likely to feel like gagging. They just taste so much better! There is a HUGE difference between "cage free" eggs, organic eggs, and pasture raised eggs from chickens that are actually allowed to run around in a yard or field and eat bugs and plants that they normally eat. I lived on an organic farm in Michigan, and I really got an education on the different levels and quality of eggs.
    Pasture raised eggs (again, NOT cage free) provide amazing nutrients and are so much more delicious than regular eggs. You can usually get them at local farmer's markets in your area, if you are not near a farm, or even at the store (Sprouts, Whole Foods, etc). You must read the label!
    One more thing, while you can get eggs that are Pasture Raised from the grocery store (Happy Eggs, etc), DO NOT get eggs that are organic AND pasture raised. I'm not sure what they do with the additional processing of the pasture raised eggs to make them organic, but it seems to strip the flavor of them. We want them fresh outta the chicken! I hope that helps!

      I am wanting to put on weight too & thinking of starting dairy again too. I am a very fine boned, 5'2'' female around 48kg most of my life but since this diet I am struggling to stay there. I had put on weight (55kg) before starting this diet but that dropped very quickly. I am not a big eater but try to eat as much as I can. I am eating, beef, lamb, fish bacon & eggs and stopped all dairy along with fruit & veg in Dec 22. I can only buy pasteurised milk in Australia where I am living, but there is a good quality farm milk from a country town called Melany where you see the thick cream in their 'Choice' milk which I buy. They also sell a very good quality thick cream which may be a good way to get fat. I cant eat butter like Lillie does or liver, I am going to look into liver tablets.

I have found that naturally thinner folks need to lift weights to put on weight. At your weight I would try 90g of protein a day and do push ups, pull ups, squats and deadlifts five days a week, maybe altering upper body and lower body workouts each of those days-3 days legs, 2 days upper body. And then build your reps and weights up slowly. Just my two cents. Have a great week!

      One of the healthiest foods you can eat. I'm 95% vegan, but I eat sardines on the weekends (so I guess I'm pescatarian). I do this for the B12, K2, D3, and of course omega-3s. Our brains are literally made of omega-3 fatty acids, and none of these nutrients are available in a strict vegan diet. I believe this (vegan plus sardines) is the perfect human diet.

    • @urbanfrog8466
      @urbanfrog8466 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The issue most people have with sea salt is not the way it is made, but the fact that it has been shown to be contaminated with microplastics, because the entire ocean is now full of microplastics. That is why people are turning to mined salt, because it comes from ancient sea beds, laid down before humans.

But there is a funny element to this, you see, like the majority of Americans, she believes a high protein & high fat diet will make you GAIN weight and therefore this has been her diet for years. She tends to eat until she’s absolutely STUFFED, yet doesn’t gain weight. This just shows the power of this kind of diet for weight loss.

I have been having problems with my gallbladder and the only thing that makes me feel better is eating ground beef but any advice says to stay away from red meat cheese and milk ect. • @winniecash1654

      Eat what heals. Do a little research, but I think the problem is carbohydrates, not protein. I had a fatty liver and too much sludge in my gallbladder. While the 'sludge' is fatty, it was downstream the fatty liver. So, when I started keto and then carnivore, I lost weight, and I no longer have a fatty liver. Unfortunately, my gallbladder was removed before I changed my diet. But maybe my gallbladder would have improved after I cut out all the carbs, too.

    I buy whole pork belly and divide it into 4# slabs(12 lb average when whole).I put them on my pellet grill/smoker for 3 to 4 hours. I will freeze them enough to allow me to slice them and then vacuum pack and refreeze them.With no added salt I don't have to worry about nitrates or sugars and I just season them with salt and pepper when I cook it on my panini grill. I save the fat and pour it on my eggs. I make kimchi and saurkraut so I use grey sea salt from Korea which is clean and gives lots of trace minerals. I use half and half to make yogurt.Anyone who claims they make cheese or yogurt with raw milk is not being honest. Drinking raw milk from pastured cows would be wonderful but you will have to wait for late spring into fall to get it as the milk will likely be from the cows eating hay and grain supplement. Lets focus on eating what is the best for us humans and that is beef. I have some 5 times or more per week. I have harvested over 50 deer in my lifetime and a few bears and elk and moose. They were all delish as I was taught to handle them in a responsible manner such as getting the body cooled off as soon as possible and pulling it up a tree into the shade if high in the mountains.I was raised on farms and slaughtered pigs and cattle and sheep and butchered them ourselves. When aged properly the meat was portioned ,double wrapped and labeled. I guess my bad health started when I went into the USN. The food wasn't so good on our ship.I used to eat in the countries we visited in Europe and was amazed that my shipmates would go to the few fast food dives and never ate the local food. I loved sea food and meat over there. I had a half suckling pig dinner in Spain that I still remember. It was sooooo good. Greece had wonderful food and in Athens they had a place that sold fresh yogurt every morning.The line would be long and if you got there a bit late it was all gone. I went carno back in July last year and have mostly stuck to it. I am now the same weight that I was in the USN. That was back in 1970/74. I think I had a bit more muscles back then,lol. My bmi went from 25 to 18.Weight was 172# and now 137#. My height is 5'7". Exercise and hiking/biking is slowly getting better as spring slowly warms us up.

Or are you saying that the finished product has not been heated, thus is truly raw? If so, are you making it that way? Recipe? Also, re: the dairy, I totally agree with the orange creamsicle concept, although what I do is to make a rooibos orange mint tea, and then add raw milk and raw cream. It is such a delight!
