@epeliloganimoce6651 In my opinion, E-VOA is a process which costs you some 650 Baht extra, but you don't get anything in return. In addition to the extra money, you have to take the trouble of scanning and uploading your documents. I feel that the best option is to just go to the VOA counter, and show them the documents in person. And these are the same documents which you will have to show them even after taking E-VOA.

@ShibabrataChakraborty Shopping for a cheap camera or other electronic items in Thailand is not recommended. Nowadays, everything is available in India at the best prices. Shopping in Thailand was good when Thai Baht cost under Rs. 2. Now, their currency has become too expensive, and hence all shopping in Thailand too. I recommend searching for what you want to buy on Amazon (India). Note down the prices and details of the items. In Bangkok, go to the "Fortune Town IT Mall" and look for the same or similar items. You can compare the prices with online prices in India, and then buy something if it is cheaper or better there. In Phuket and Krabi, shopping should be avoided because all prices are inflated, and there are no good places to buy anything.

Hi @suryaprashantkumar4666 The wait time at the regular counter should actually be the same as the fast track counter. But because they want everyone to use the fast track counter, those unfortunate enough to try the regular counter get punished. At the regular counter, they will ask you to show proof of funds, will ask you to change your currency to THB at the exchange counter in the visa area where the exchange rates are horrible, will try to find a fault in any of your documents, and when they can't find any fault, they will just take the maximum possible time to process your visa. At the fast track counter, they only want your application form, return ticket, passport, and the fee of 2200 Baht in cash. Once you have those, your visa gets processed in under 10 minutes. This is what I have observed during my last three trips to Thailand. But just in case, keep everything else ready. If they ask for something, even at the fast track counter, you should have it.

About the money, even at the immigration stage, it they ask you about it, then you have to show currency only. Bank statement does not help.

Hello. Since it is necessary to show confirmed hotel bookings for the entire stay in Thailand, you may book for the remaining days with a free cancellation option. After clearing visa and immigration, you may cancel the unwanted bookings and make new ones as per your need.

Hi. You will need to obtain a visa before you travel. El Salvador passport holders are not eligible for visa on arrival and there is no visa exemption. A tourist visa will allow you to stay in Thailand for up to 60 days, which you may obtain from any of the following missions: Royal Thai Consulate-General, Chicago / Royal Thai Consulate-General, Los Angeles / Royal Thai Consulate-General, New York / Royal Thai Embassy, Washington D.C. You may consider using a local visa agent.

Hi. When you arrive in Thailand with a prior visa, you can go straight to immigration. The immigration officer will see your passport, boarding card, return ticket, hotel bookings, and funds to cover expenses during the stay.

Hi. If they ask you to show funds, then it will have to be cash only, in THB, USD or another popular currency. Cards or bank statement, etc., are not accepted. However, if you opt for the fast track VOA, there is a great chance that they may not ask you to show funds because a detailed scrutiny does not happen at the fast track counter. There is no guarantee, but this has been my experience.

Hi. E-visa on arrival is not a real e-visa. It is just visa on arrival with a different name, which does not give you any benefit but takes away an extra 500 Baht from you. I suggest counter visa for you. But when you are there, go to the Priority Counter, where they will charge 200 Baht more, and will process your visa within 5 to 10 minutes. To help me guide better, please tell if your PNR for the Phuket ticket is the same or different from your India-Bangkok ticket. I assume you are flying via Don Mueang Airport, is that correct?

Hi. Effective April 1, 2023, the visa-free stay in Thailand for US passport holders is back to 30 days. And US passport holders need not go to the Visa on arrival counter. They can go straight to immigration. No fee is required to be paid. However, the passport needs to have a remaining validity of at least 6 months.

Hi. If you enter Thailand on 9th August and leave on 22nd August, it is a total stay of 14 days, which is allowed with Visa on Arrival. Your plan is good. And at present, there is no requirement of RTPCR or vaccination certificate in Thailand.

Hi. You need a verifiable hotel confirmation, preferably from a booking site such as MakeMyTrip or Agoda. The payment status can be "Pay Later" or "Pay at Hotel". However, if the payment pending status is mentioned on the booking confirmation, and the staff at the document verification or visa counter notice it, they may ask you to show additional funds for the hotel cost. You may also tell them that you will pay for the hotel with a credit card. If you go to the Fast Track visa on arrival counter (recommended), they generally do not see anything other than your return flight ticket. At the document verification counter also, keep 2200 Baht on top of your documents. Showing 2200 Baht will mean that you want a Fast Track visa. That usually works. However, for your peace of mind, it is better if you travel with confirmed and paid hotel bookings.

Hi. Under the visa free policy, six month remaining validity is required. But under the visa on arrival policy, it is 30 days. Please wait for the policy news expected this month. If they extend the visa free policy, then renew your passport before travel. If they don't extend, then visa on arrival rules will apply.

Duration of my trip is 1 week which includes Bangkok, Pattaya (maybe) and Phuket but confirmed hotel booking has been done only for 3 days. Hi. Confirmed hotel bookings for the entire stay is one of the requirements for Visa on Arrival. They may demand to see hotel confirmations. What I suggest is, to make some bookings for both Pattaya and Phuket with the free cancellation option. There are many hotels in both the locations which allow free cancellation up to 24 hours before the check-in time. When you clear your visa and immigration, you can cancel the unwanted bookings and make new ones as per your final plan. Also, when applying for Visa on Arrival, opt for the Fast Track counter. You will pay 200 Baht more but will face the least amount of questioning.

Hi. To the best of my knowledge, visa on arrival can't be extended beyond 15 days, including the days of arrival and departure. What some people are doing is, they are overstaying in Thailand, and then at the time of leaving, they are paying an overstay penalty of 500 Baht per day, per person. That is a risky way of doing things, and sometimes, in addition to the cash penalty, Thai immigration can also put an overstay stamp on your passport, or bar you from future entry. The overstay is entirely your responsibility and I do not recommend it. Another issue with visa on arrival is, at the time of applying for the visa, they will demand to see an air ticket for exit within 15 days. You will have to manage that, like buying a flexible ticket and changing the date after entering Thailand.

Hi. It is not possible to board a domestic flight in Thailand without clearing immigration first. You will have to take your visa at Bangkok itself, and the airline staff will help you get it well in time. Go with a pre-filled VOA application form, with your photo stapled on it. Keep all documents ready so that you do not waste any time. If it is a single PNR ticket, your airline is responsible for the short connection. They already know it, and will make sure that you get your visa.

Very useful information- one doubt…. even children below 4 years and infant also requires us to fill the form and do we need to pay 2000thb even for them 🤑
Hi. The first thing, every visitor to Thailand, including infants and children, needs a visa to enter Thailand and the visa fee has to be paid for each applicant. The second issue of a "separate form" is not 100% clear to me because I never thought about it. If you look at the visa on arrival form, it has space for writing the names, dates and places of birth of minor children traveling on the same passport. So, my understanding is (and I could be wrong), if a child has a separate passport, then a separate form is required, and if a child's name is written on the passport of a parent, then a separate form for the child is not required. However, to be on the safer side, I suggest that while filling up the forms, you may fill up separate forms for the children as well. Also carry photographs of the children because if they ask for the photo, and you don't have it, taking a photo in the VOA area will cost 300 Baht per photo. And, of course, write the names/d.o.b., etc., of the minor applicants traveling on the same passport in the relevant VOA form. Whichever way they accept it, you will get the visa for everyone.

For Thailand Visa on Arrival, no pre-registration is required. Just gather all the documents as explained in the video, and go to the Fast Track visa on arrival counter. Pay the fee, hand over your docs, and they will process your visa within minutes. In India, the immigration officer will ask about the visa. You have to answer that you will be taking a visa on arrival. Most people who visit Thailand from India take visa only after arriving in Thailand. The immigration officers already know this.

Flight turbulence can happen in any month of the year. I have travelled to Thailand between July and September. It was all normal in the flight. In Bangkok in September, yes, rain is likely. In fact, I was in Bangkok in October 2022, and it rained almost every day during my trip. I had to buy an umbrella there.

Yes, the electricity supply in Thailand is the same as in India. But you may need to buy a socket adaptor there because some hotels do not have international power sockets in the rooms. Adaptors are easily available. Even your hotel will provide it.
Bro, I have a doubt regarding the cash. We are a 3 member group and I have exchanged 30000 THB with 75k inr. And the acknowledgement receipt is in my name only. So on arrival, is the same receipt enough for all three of us
Hi @anoopkrishnam6106 Please don't worry about the receipt because no one is going to ask about it. I see another problem, though. The funds requirement for visa on arrival is 10,000 Baht plus the visa fee. So, if you are planning to take VOA from the regular counter, you will need 12,000 Baht each, and if you're going for the fast track counter, the requirement will be 12,200 Baht. If you can arrange additional Thai Baht to pay the visa fee, that will be nice. Otherwise, try to take your visa from the fast track counter. Most of the times, at the fast track counter, a detailed scrutiny does not happen, and they do not ask about funds either. There is no guarantee, but this has been my experience during my last three trips to Thailand.

Hi. If you have an Indian passport, you are eligible for VOA. About the address, you can write your current address in Japan. My earlier passport had my Chandigarh address, but I was staying in Bengaluru. During those days, I used to write my Bengaluru address in the VOA application form. It worked every time.

Hi. It is like this. If they ask for proof of funds, then you have to show cash only. It can be Thai Baht or USD or another popular currency. Bank statement or credit cards, etc., are not accepted. There is no guarantee, but it is my experience that by using the Fast Track option, you can avoid showing funds.

Hi @chennagayathri7044 The easiest way to do this is for your brother to carry a confirmed hotel booking with a free cancellation option. After the visa and immigration are cleared, the booking can be cancelled. There can be two bookings. One for the first day, which will get utilized. The second booking, for the remaining days, can be for a hotel which allows free cancellation upto the check-in time. The other option is for him to carry a physical invitation letter, printed or written, and signed by you. This letter will say that your brother is invited to stay with you during his visit. Your brother's name, date of birth, his passport number, and current address will be mentioned in the letter. In addition, the letter will mention your name, address, and visa status in Thailand, which permits you to stay there on a long-term basis. You will need to attach copies of your passport, visa proof, and address proof in Thailand. Regardless of which option you choose, I will suggest that your brother opt for the fast track visa on arrival. At the fast track counter, a detailed scrutiny does not happen, and the visa gets cleared without trouble.

Hi. Apparently, your prospective employer has suggested that you visit Thailand on a tourist visa. Just follow visa on arrival or visa free process, as available on the date of your travel.

Hi. I think there is a way to do that, but please confirm it from another source as well. If your friend is legally staying in Thailand, meaning he has a valid visa permitting him to stay on a long-term basis, then he can invite you to stay with him. You will need your friend's passport and visa copy, and other relevant documents copy, and an invitation letter from him addressed to you, which contains the friend's visa or work status, passport details, and the apartment address. That invitation letter may be accepted as proof of stay. Again, confirm this from another source before acting on it. However, there is an easier way. Just carry confirmed hotel bookings with a free cancellation option, which can be cancelled after you clear the visa and immigration. So, make two hotel bookings. One booking for only the first day of stay, which will not be cancelled. And another booking from the second day onwards, with a free cancellation option. Because there will be a one-day gap, you will have adequate time to cancel that second booking. Another advice, choose the Fast Track visa option because at the fast track counter, a detailed scrutiny does not happen. At the verification counter also, show them 2200 Baht cash for visa fee, which will mean that you will take fast track visa.

Yes, the document verification counter where you go first is common. At this counter, along with your documents, show them 2200 Baht cash as fee. That will mean that you will be taking fast track visa. After verification, you just go to the fast track counter and hand over your passport and application form along with 2200 Baht cash. They usually don't ask for any other documents.

The Indian immigration while returning will also see your passport and boarding card only. No other document copies are needed.

Yes, you can bring USD. However, if you have BookMyForex service in your city, they deliver Thai currency at approximately 5% premium over the interbank rate. That is also a good deal. Hi. Actually, you don't have a choice. VOA has to be taken at Suvarnabhumi only. It is not possible to board a domestic flight in Thailand without clearing immigration first. When you land, seek help from your airline's staff. They will guide you on how to go about the visa and immigration process.

There is no ATM in the visa / immigration area, but there are a few exchange counters. The exchange rates at those counters are so bad that you will almost get robbed. If you can find Thai currency before travel just to pay for the visa fee, do that. The rest, carry in USD, and change it into Thai Baht after crossing immigration. If you have BookMyForex service in your city, you can buy Thai currency from them for your entire trip. I have posted five videos on currency exchange in Thailand, and the 6th one is coming today. In Google, type BookMyForex, and you will see their website. If they have service in your city, you can pay online in Rupees and they will deliver Thai Baht to you. Otherwise, take USD from India and change to Baht after reaching Thailand. Do not carry Indian Rupees to Thailand because INR-THB exchange rate is terrible.

Hi. Your visa and immigration will take place at Don Mueang Airport itself. It is not possible to board a domestic flight in Thailand without clearing immigration first. May I know how much time you have at DMK before boarding the flight to Phuket?

This is what I know: The airline staff in the VOA area will help you in getting the visa quickly. Actually, eVOA is not a real e-visa. It is just a pre-arrival registration for VOA. You will still have to go to the visa on arrival counter. There may be some fast track visa applicants ahead of you in the queue. After they get their application submitted, you can submit yours. The visa counter staff may ask you to show your return air ticket, hotel bookings, funds, etc. After the visa is stamped on your passport, the airline staff will help you clear immigration through a special area. It is different from the regular immigration queue. After that special immigration, you can proceed to board your flight to Phuket. The layover time of 1.5 hours is short, but you can make it. Seek help from the airline staff after landing. They are usually present in the VOA area, carrying placards for the connecting flights.
For verification, are the documents like hotel reservation flight tickets etc. required per person or per family?
If you are going to the visa on arrival counter as a family, then a single printout of tickets and hotel bookings will do. Hotel booking can be in one person's name but the number of people should match.

Yes, if the three of you are going to the visa counter together, then the hotel bookings can be in a single name. But carry separate printouts for each friend. If they ask, just say that one friend did the hotel booking for everyone. But usually, at the Fast Track counter, they don't ask.

A photo with approximate 4x6 cm size is acceptable. They have not specified the face coverage ratio. Usually, they are not very strict about the photo specifications. If you carry a photo separately, they will staple it on your visa application form. Gum is not used.

Hello. No, credit card does not work for this purpose. If they ask you to show proof of funds, it has to be in currency only. Thai Baht or USD or other convertible currency is acceptable. However, if you opt for the Fast Track visa on arrival, you may be able to avoid showing money (but no guarantee). At the fast track counter, a detailed scrutiny does not happen. Just carry 2200 Baht cash to pay for the visa fee. The rest you can manage after clearing visa and immigration. Hi. I believe yes, you will need a transit visa, which can be a visa on arrival if you have an eligible passport. The thing is, unless AirAsia has sold you a single PNR "Fly-Thru" ticket, they will not let you check in for the next flight in the transit area. You will have to go to the departure area check in counters, which means passing through immigration.

No problem. I have availed of Visa on arrival at Suvarnabhumi airport three times within the last one year. Twice, I arrived during the daytime, and had to use the special immigration area located behind the VOA counter. So, I did not have to come out of the VOA area for immigration. But once, in October 2022, I arrived after midnight, and at that time the special immigration area was closed. So, after stamping the visa on the passports, they were telling everyone to return to the main immigration corridor, and use the regular immigration hall. If you are arriving during the daytime, the two of you will be using different immigration areas. The process is like this: Visa Stamp >> Immigration >> Out to Baggage Belts. If no visa required, then it is Immigration >> Out to Baggage Belts. I am guessing, after getting your visa/immigration, etc., done, the two of you can meet near a baggage belt. Hi. The e-visa on arrival, which you are looking at, is not a real e-visa. It is just a pre-arrival registration for visa on arrival. After landing in Thailand, you will still have to go to the regular visa on arrival counter. And you will pay 560 Baht extra for each online application. As well as I know, there is no family category in visa on arrival. But, I am not aware of how applications are submitted and processed on the e-VOA website.

@archanajavgal3914 Actually, for Thailand Visa on Arrival, bank statements do not serve any purpose. When you go to the visa on arrival counter, you have to show proof of funds in cash only. It is 10,000 Baht per person, and when two members of a family are traveling together, the requirement will be 20,000 Baht total. Funds can be in THB, USD, or another popular currency. What I have observed during my last three trips to Thailand, if you opt for the fast track visa on arrival, they don't ask for proof of funds. A detailed scrutiny does not happen at the fast track counter. You pay 200 Baht extra per applicant, and your visa is processed quickly and without any trouble. Of course, there is no guarantee that they will not ask you to show funds, but generally, they don't.

Hi. Hotel confirmations for the entire stay are mandatory for visa on arrival. But it is ok to carry multiple booking confirmations for all your stay dates. In the VOA application form, you may write the name and address of the first hotel of stay in Thailand. If you are planning to change your stay plan after landing in Thailand, it is possible to book hotels with free cancellation and pay later options. That way, after your visa/immigration is done, you can cancel the unwanted hotel bookings and make new bookings as per your plans. Both Agoda and MakeMyTrip offer hotel bookings in Thailand with Pay Later - Free Cancellation benefits. Just be careful to cancel the bookings within the free cancellation period.

Hi @nolanmenezes835 If you have booking confirmation emails or booking vouchers with you at the time of applying for visa on arrival, for all practical purposes, you will be able to stay in those hotels. And I am talking of booking confirmations from websites such as MakeMyTrip and Agoda. Not a direct email from a hotel. If the bookings are confirmed with a "Pay Later" or "Pay at Hotel" option, it is still ok. Generally, the staff at the document verification counter or visa on arrival counter do not see hotel confirmations in that much detail. And if you go to the Fast Track counter, they may not even look at your hotel bookings. All they usually see is the return flight ticket. However, if the payment pending status is showing on the booking confirmations, and the verification or the visa counter staff somehow notice it, they may ask you to show additional funds to be paid for the hotels. It is not a big deal. And again, I suggest that you go to the Fast track counter. At the verification counter also, keep 2200 Baht on top of your documents. Showing 2200 Baht means that you want a Fast Track visa. Once they see 2200 Baht cash, they will not ask questions.

@elizacringanu7050 I have done some reading just now. What I see is, when traveling on a cruise, the cruise company takes care of the visa, even when a passenger is eligible for a visa on arrival. They collect the documents, the visa on arrival fee, and handling fee, etc., and arrange the visa for you through an agency. They will know the visa facilities at the port of call. I suggest that you contact the cruise operator in this regard.

From Guwahati to Bangkok, it depends on the airline policy, whether they give you both the boarding cards at Guwahati or give the second one at Kolkata. If your layover at Kolkata is long, it will not be a problem, and anyway, the airline is responsible for giving you adequate time at Kolkata if they expect you to check in again there. And if you get both the boarding cards at Guwahati, it will be really good. However, if you have your return flight like that, from Bangkok you arrive at Kolkata first, and then have the connecting flight to Guwahati, then they will ask you to collect your bags at Kolkata, clear Customs, and re-deposit the bags at Kolkata check in counter for the domestic flight to Guwahati. This will happen even if you get both the boarding cards in Bangkok.

Hi. If you are taking fast track VOA (recommended), the visa and immigration process should be over within 30 minutes. Now that Chinese citizens have got exemption from visa, the VOA counters will not be that busy. For the 13.50 flight from DMK, you need to reach that airport by 11.50. The shuttle is expected to take 75 minutes, including wait time at the airport. Yes, it looks like a good plan. But don't wait anywhere. You have to account for the shuttle taking longer due to a traffic jam.

Hi. No. Visa on arrival is available to citizens of a select list of countries and the maximum stay allowed under this type of visa is 15 days including the days of entry and exit. There is a different list of countries whose citizens enjoy visa exemption and get entry for 14, 30, or 90 days, depending on their nationality.

I am guessing, you are traveling on AirAsia, Bengaluru to Phuket via DMK. See, even if there is a 1 hour 40 minute gap in the two flights, according to the best of my knowledge, you will have to clear visa and immigration at Don Mueang Airport only. You cannot take a domestic flight in Thailand without having cleared immigration. But there is no need to worry. This is what you will have to do: Carry a pre-filled visa on arrival application form with your photograph stapled on it. Also, keep your passport, return flight ticket & hotel confirmation printouts, your boarding card of BLR-DMK flight, and the cash to show (equal to 10,000 THB), ready. When your flight lands, you will see some AirAsia staff near the aircraft or in the arrival terminal building. I have seen AirAsia staff many times near the visa on arrival area carrying placards for the Phuket flight. They know, some passengers arriving at DMK will have a short connection to Phuket. Even if you do not see any AirAsia staff on the way, keep going towards the visa on arrival area. When you finally see them, just approach them. AirAsia staff will help you with getting your visa at a special counter or maybe in the common area at the fast track counter. Here, it is important not to go through the regular immigration queue. After your visa is stamped, you will be taken through a special immigration queue meant for transfer passengers. The AirAsia staff will guide you on how to proceed to board your flight to Phuket after immigration. Don't worry, the AirAsia website says that your connection to Phuket is protected by the airline. This is the language they have used there: "Your airline will cover the connection for this leg of your flight. This means that they'll: Transfer your bags to the next flight, and provide the necessary assistance in case you miss your connection. They also suggest that you may contact the airline for more information."

Hi. If they ask you to show money, then a bank statement or credit card will not work. It will have to be cash only, either THB or USD or another popular currency. However, it may be possible to avoid this proof of funds scrutiny if you opt for fast track VOA. You will pay 200 Baht extra, but usually at the fast track counter, they don't ask questions. No guarantee, but this has been my personal experience.
Can you please elaborate Proof of funds...Do I need to carry thb of 12000 or bank statement as well? I will be opting for fast track. Also my hotel booking is for two but now only 1 is going so will that be an issue?
Hi. If they ask you to show proof of funds, then you will have to show cash only, which can be THB or USD or another popular currency. Bank statement or credit cards are not accepted. And the visa fee of 2200 Baht has to be paid in cash in Thai currency only. However, if you are opting for fast track, chances are that they may not ask you to show proof of funds, but there is no guarantee. Regarding hotel booking, your booking voucher may be showing that two people can stay in the room. That is normal. Most hotel bookings are like that, even when only one person is traveling. It will not be an issue.

Hi. Travel insurance or any other insurance is not mandatory for Thailand Visa on Arrival. However, you can take it for your own comfort. It is your choice. I have traveled to Thailand three times after the pandemic without any insurance. All the three times, I took VOA.
Is the fast track option available in Don mueang airport?
Hi. I have used the fast track option at Don Mueang Airport before the pandemic. I am sure it is available at every Thai international airport where visa on arrival is processed. At Suvarnabhumi, the document verification counters are common, and thereafter one can choose between normal and fast track. But I am not aware of the current setup at DMK. There are usually some staff members present in the visa on arrival area who staple photographs to visa application forms. Before standing in the queue, look for them and ask them. They will gladly take you to the fast track counter.

Hi. Actually, the rule does not specify how many members in a family. They only say, 20,000 Baht per family. I guess, it means that there is one head of the family and the other members of the family are traveling with him or her. In other words, parents and their children. Can you please share how many days you are planning to stay, and what is the age of the family members?

But still, if anyone asks about the money, you may tell them that you will be using your credit cards in Thailand for day-to-day spends. I only have one suggestion, try taking the fast track visa. You will pay 200 Baht extra per person, but your visa process will be quick and hassle-free. A detailed scrutiny does not happen at the fast track counter. Once you enter Thailand, there will be plenty of opportunities to save that much money. You can save money on currency exchange, on local travel, and on sightseeing bookings, etc. You may watch my other Thailand videos for ideas. Please can a Ghanaian passport holder get visa on arrival in thailand
Hi @godivaadwubiagyeman-bonsu3371 Passport holders of Ghana are not eligible for a visa on arrival in Thailand. You will have to apply for a tourist visa at the nearest Thai embassy or consulate, and the application has to be submitted in person.
My passport will expire on April 7, 2024. Will they allow me if book the tickets dec 1.. because passport validity require minimum 6 months.. pls confirm is there any way to go .. or share Thailand emigration department email id..
@MrThiruvengadam Currently, a visa-waiver for Indian passport holders is in force, which will remain up to May 10, 2024. According to the terms of the visa-waiver, the minimum remaining passport validity should be six months on the day of arrival in Thailand. Under the earlier dispensation of visa on arrival, a passport validity of 30 days would have been sufficient, but that will not be available on the day of your planned arrival. My understanding is that they will not allow you to enter Thailand. The right course of action would be to get the passport renewed before travel. And I don't have any email id on which you can take an official clarification on this.

Hi. I just got this information from the website of the Thai embassy in Tel Aviv:
"Nationals of Israel are eligible to travel to Thailand, for tourism purpose, with the exemption of visa and are permitted to stay in Thailand for a period of not exceeding 30 days.
However, please make sure that you are in possession of a passport valid for at least 6 months, a round-trip air ticket, and adequate finances equivalent to at least US$1,000 per person or US$2,000 Baht per family. Otherwise, you may be inconvenienced upon entry into the country.
Furthermore, an Israeli who enters Thailand under this Tourist Visa Exemption Scheme may re-enter and stay in Thailand for a cumulative duration of stay of not exceeding 90 days within any 6-month period from the date of first entry.
If you enter Thailand by a land crossing, you will normally be allowed to stay for up to 15 days without a visa."
