      Free cards with zero forex markup -
      niyo global
      bookmyforex
      (these are prepaid cards)
      you can also consider one card (it charges 1% fees and sometimes charges nothing depending on the offers they run). It works like a credit card.
      apart from these other cards are from proper banks and have good amount of annual fees attached to it.

    Planning to travel Phuket through kuala lumpur by air asia. Same airline but might generate different PNR. Do i need to carry intransit visa?

    • @khushboo.vasudeva
      @khushboo.vasudeva  17 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Hi, I'm not really sure. Please check with the airlines once.
      or you can check if the plane is landing at the same terminal from where it will take off next then no need of VISA.
      if terminal changes then you have to basically exit the airport, enter the country and go to the other terminal which means you require visa.

    Hello, i am travelling to Thailand solo this July. Could you please help me. First of all, should I do the online visa beforehand or do it in the airport on arrival. People say you have to wait long time for the later. Also can we rent scooty service in Bangkok or is it expensive? Because i want to extensively explore Bangkok and as you said Transportation through Grab and Tuktuk maybe expensive.
    Also Can i skip the three island hop that you did ? Is it super worth it as compared to spending more time in Phuket ? Also is there bus service from Phuket directly to Chiangmai. I don't want to take the flight.
    Sorry too many questions 😅😅 but I am following your route only and also travelling for 14 days

    • @khushboo.vasudeva
      @khushboo.vasudeva  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      1. on arrival is free.
      2. renting a scooter in bangkok - please do have an international driving permit as bangkok is the main city and police might be there. Instead you can go for Grab bike which is budget friendly (like uber moto or ola bike)
      3. you can skip the islands if you want, it was just a different side of Thailand to be honest. Phuket can be done in 1-2 days plus 1 day for phi phi island tour. So if you have time and budget consider doing both.
      4. Please check here for more information on Phuket to Chiang Mai options - 12go.tp.st/Z4vUQvUG

      hey, yes it was rainy as in showers and then you can go out and enjoy. 30 mins max it is going to rain at a time. So, it is not a problem.
      But like I was in Phuket, night markets don't put up a lot of stalls as they expect fewer people on rainy days. (markets apart from Bangla Market). If you check out Phuket vlog, even island hopping tour got dangerous, but we returned fine.
      Apart from that, you can have a good time, whether you choose north or south Thailand.

    • @khushboo.vasudeva
      @khushboo.vasudeva  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      hey I travelled in June end so August will be same only (monsoon month).
      The weather would not be a big issue as mostly you will be out in the evening only for markets, nightlife, food. (afternoon you can visit temples or shopping or chill at a cafe)
      But the only problem will be monsoon on the south side (phuket phi phi island ek baar dekh lena kya scene hai, Tour available hai ya nhi. Don't plan to stay at Phi Phi as you can get stuck there if it rains heavily - these things are from my research of monsoon, you do yours too.)
      Lastly, koh samui side utna. rain nhi hota hai so you can definitely add that.
      And I don't think any month is bad for travelling to Thailand, just that you have to pick the right things to match your interest and weather.
      I hope this helps 😊. Consider subscribing to the channel ❣️

      Hi, the video is all about my experience and learnings through travelling Thailand. The information is not wrong, you and I might have a different style of travelling.
      You can surely add on to the points where you felt you had a different experience and learnings so that you can help others who are travelling for the first time.
