- I can't sell the 1983 Yamaha XJ650 Seca Turbo! So, I am going to lightly restore it back to almost original position and then try to sell it in June (hopefully). Watch this video to see me ride the bike around and show some of my Facebook marketplace interactions while trying to sell this bike.

It’s about time you made a video.. The shorts don’t quite cut it.
I'm from 1983, so I'll be watching the whole resto!
6:58 MG B GT (MG is the manufacturer, B is the model and GT is the variant).
It's good to see a video from you! I'm looking forward to the video when you replace that windshield! It drives me nuts every time!
I hate selling bikes and cars. Really shows you how dumb most people are.
I rode a 1983 yamaha seca turbo back in the day! Quick bike, when the turbo spooled up!Even more rare here in Canada!
The rarest was the Suzuki XN85 but the BEST was the Kawasaki GPz 750turbo.
Looking forward to seeing you make this one nicer again…
I’m sure you can sell it once you restore it. And if not it is a pretty sweet ride! In the meantime I’ll be enjoying watching you make it pretty again!
So stoked!!! I'll be doing the same to mine along with you. Your such a huge help!
Looking forward to the next video!
I think the car was an MGB GT. I had a British friend in HS and he had a couple of them.
iv been watching you since you where still in high school man you have came a long way just wanted to say keep up the good work
The infamous widow maker?!😮😮😮😮
1973 MG MGB hatchback
Is everything a widow maker ?
I'm so sick of that moniker.
I had a 72 Kawasaki 750 H2 triple that they called the widow maker.
It's an overused name.
My favorite bike if all time. Rode mine for over 10 years before a "mechanic" messed it up. Riding a FJR 1300 now. I still prefer the turbo. Also, the fuel petcock is easily turned while sittinng on the bike. Never had to use pliers.
I just got one of these myself. Petcock is also leaking :p I look forward to the resto so I can follow along!
Fun bikes, I've had mine for 5 years now and have found if you double tap the warning button on the dash, the battery light will stop flashing for the key cycle, and these bikes hate sitting, no matter how nice the conditions. I drain my fuel tank before storing since they like to fill the cylinders with gas either through the petcock or the fuel return system. only found that out since I was lucky to get a service manual with mine.
“The Yellow Bastard” 😂😂 love it
My 1983 Yamaha Turbo has 4,000 miles on it 👍😊💝
please say the new project is a mid 1970's yamaha xs 750!!
Kawasaki 2 stroke?
Did you think about draining oil again and check for shavings before putting more money into it? Btw, for me yellow is the perfect colour for this bike.
Dude your killing it. Drain the dang oil.
Why?
Is it a Suzuki GT 750 sitting in your garage?;)
Those were quick even the NA xj650 was fast
id buy it but im in a different country
how wild would it be if you turned that thingh into a cafe racer
Three cylinder 2-stroke? Either a Kawi or Suzuki then. Shot in the dark, I'll guess a GT550.
This bike will be a Good Cafe Racer or a Scrambler
Are you sure you won't take that toaster for it? I'm afraid you're going to hurt yourself on it.
Wait do you have a Kawasaki h1 or h2 in the garage?
Pretty cool bikes but they dont seem very collectable..People dont seem to want them..I have a chance to buy one for a decent price it almost seems like I'd be buying a headache..
Brand new Yamaha Turbos they sold for $2,500 in CA. 👍😒
Anything but yellow 😂
so i think i'll end up restoring it mwahahahaha 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hopefully the new bike is a Kawasaki triple….
Wanna know. Haha i have 3 of them
I'd buy it but i live so far from you
I imagine that you figured it out, but it didn't sell because the yellow color is horrid and your price was way too high (even for one in great cosmetic condition with excellent paint). I owned four of these in the 1980s and have collected vintage cycles for the past 25 years.
No one will buy it because it's a turd. The normally aspirated 650 was faster.
NOW, if it was Kawasaki GPz750 turbo, you'd have many people wanting it.
The best of the Japanese Factory turbos.
And yes, I have one. 1985
