This is for GSO 10" Dobsonians
with premium Altitude bearing tension adjustment mechanism
Apretura AD10, Zhummel Z10, Orion SkyLine 10"
Fitting to other diameters of the same lineup (8" and 12" mirrors) will require a different belt length and a minor modification of the motor clamp block.

Nice work.
wow. I watched your videos. Very neat design🎉
I'm going to do the same thing with my AD12 and wanted to know if you can do a video covering the software setup? Good video thanks.

Bonjour je voudrai faire la même chose sur mon dobson skywatcher 254 /1200 peux t on utiliser une carte fysetc s6 pour le faire merci
@@louloulouloy4978 Sure it will work. Controller type/model does not matter much. The hardest part is to do mechanics right. Your telescope has a bit different design of an altitude bearing. So the timing wheel design will not be as easy.
What software were you using to control it?
What's exactly the difference between onstop goto and servocat?
what is the focuser mechanism?
Hi, are you able to help me with OnStep configuration? I need to know the GR1 and GR2 values in the OnStep configuration spreadsheet
Hi, did you have any luck with the configuration spreadsheet?
@@PeterTakac I did but I amended the design quite a bit... I used the same size belt for the alt, but the az I went a different approach and used a slightly smaller MDF disc with a belt around it ..
