The Volkswagen ID.R, powered by two electric motors delivering 500 kW (680 PS), shattered the Nürburgring Nordschleife’s electric lap record with an incredible time of 6:05.336 minutes. Driven by racing legend Romain Dumas, the ID.R outpaced the previous record by over 40 seconds, achieving an average speed of 206.96 km/h.
