Amidst the horror stories of Sigelei's customer service and social media shenanigans, it's an absolute joy when one comes across a company in the vaping world who treat their customers well. Thanks for talking about it Mark, I'll be keeping an eye out for Vaperoid for my next purchase.

Thanks for the review Mark. Sounds like a good company to deal with. I have to say generally that most vaping companies I have dealt with have been very quick to rectify any problems. Only one I have had trouble with.
Still use mine many many years later paint has gone but mod has held up well, shape it still great in hand and the silicone sleeve makes it ideal to carry outside with gloves on in all weather

I have an s-body product. A little squonker s-ca3 that i love. Use it every day. it is a little heavy but it is well built and i drop it a lot (clumsy like that). I would not hesitate to get another s-body product.
Very interested in this one. I see it from $129 from the US to $70 at gearbest (flashsale). I know very little about gearbest, if it is an authentic mod or how they handle warrenty, how long it takes to get to you...etc etc. Thanks Todd for the review, good as always. cheers!

Bought a Smok E Mountain Vanilla 18650 and an 18500 because enjoyed your reviews dude, enjoyed yours and everybody else's raves about this device. Got one from Cloud9 this morning lol Not that impressed, it's tiny which is to be expected, very slippery and quite heavy compared to my last two mods, Vaporshark DNA200 and the Boxer Mini 26650 using the yihi75 v2. Incidentally the shape of the Boxer is almost identical a little larger and much safer in the hand even if I did trash it without a skin. Dna 75 chomps through 18650's @ 50watts seems to eat almost 1% of battery every puff : O 26650's seem to be the battery of choice with the 75. USB port is more shallow on the 75 as half of the male plug is still exposed, fits snug on the Dna200. Less options in escribe to customise the screen, though only with charging so maybe this thing doesn't charge via USB am confused here maybe the port is only for data. Damien mentioned obtaining the data file to get the custom Vapedroid screens, so far their facebook page and C1D2 group page have been unresponsive. Deffo needs a skin to bulk it up and make it less slippery. Wont be taking it out as liable to drop it at some point, imagine concrete will have an alarming effect upon it. So customer service is top notch do they do refunds.
I've found that the best and most consistent 26650 battery to use with the DNA75 is the yellow AWT. People often favour the purple or green Efests, but one has to bear in mind that Efest are batch re-wrappers, so you're never going to know if you're buying a good one or something that the DNA75 board will start complaining about until you start using it. Hope this is useful for those looking at getting a C1D2. :-)
I go off the testing that Mooch does and the Efests came out very well in his test results.
Only the green one Mark, and as I said, Efest batch wrap, so some will be good, some won't. But one won't know which is which until you use them. And the DNA75 is a very unforgiving chip-set when it comes to batteries, as a lot of people with the newer 26650 mods have found out.

You're missing my point fella. It's the consistency of Efests that's in question. If you've had good ones, then you've had good ones. But people won't know if they're good ones until they've bought them. That's the point. Right now, the most consistent overall 26650s I've used with the DNA75, and is something born out by Mooch himself, are the yellow AWTs, which is why I mentioned them. I'd hate to think people will watch a video of a nice mod like this, only to be let down by the battery they buy causing the chip-set to display "low battery" when still at 50%, which is what a lot of people have reported experiencing. As I say, the 75 is an unforgiving chip-set with xx650 batteries.

Hi Todd, great review. I saw these vapedroid mods as vape jam but i think they are hugely over prices, especially there 3d printed models. I think the boxer mods are better, pretty much the same product except look a different.
Can't comment on the 3D printed ones as never used one Alan.
I have. You aren't missing out on the Boxer mod by Ginger Vaper.
In a skin I rate them out of a skin they are fragile and brittle, lovely weight though does seem a lot of money for plastic. 3D printed is expensive though everywhere ; )

Just different boards fella.
Worth pointing out to potential buyers.
I had issues with the fire button on mine, clicked but would not fire if pressed in the bottom half.
The modder told me it was designed to be held in a certain way and it was misuse on my part that the device was faulty without even seeing the issues the device had..
Redjuice the UK stockist denied there was a fault and would not issue a refund due to marking on the device until discussing with the modder.
The device had seen only light and careful use for a couple of days until I realised i couldn't live with the fire button issue.
So maybe the durability isn't good either?!

As was pointed out in the video, Vapedroid have provided the best customer service I have ever seen in my years of vaping.
Your issue was with the reseller, the contract was with him and not the modmaker. None of my business at the end of the day but you are posting on my page so leaves the door open for me ;)

No way these are not as good as the Boxer mod. The alumylon nylon/aluminum plastic Ginger Vaper uses will crack, and or break if you drop your mod. Also, The build quality of the Boxer mods is not as good. I own both, and I can honestly tell you the Vapedroid is a quality product. I would bet money the customer service is better through Vapedroid, all you have to do to see horror stories of people who ordered from Ginger Vaper is go to a Boxer review on TH-cam.
Ive got the 75w yihi 26650 model in grey from ginger vaper, i have never had any issues with the build quality. Mine is very well made. That coating / material you have yours is not available anymore. So prob just a problem with the coating.
The alumylon issue was rectified way over a year ago, shapeways the company that makes the casings changed the formula so it was more supple and would stand up better to drops and misc forces on the casings.
If you don't beleive me or need proof, you can ask the creator of boxer mods himself about that issue on fb (Teemu Kangas).
I've got the blue 26650 yihi, dropped it lots with the rubber skin and no damage, dropped it once without the skin and bottom broke off right up to the usb port. They are brittle without protection. Would like to see a skin for this mod too as no doubt I'll drop it at some point lol
When you said metal, I assume you ment steel? Zinc is a metal, shitty metal to be sure, but still a metal. Cheers 😲
