    Excellent video with lots of tips and local knowledge from a fisherman/hunter expert with Top Chef Jamie Lynn who know many ways to prepare multiple types of fresh fish. Nice trade off of back and forth dialog of pure tasty education. If we weren’t crock potting I thought about going to buy some fresh 14 day old fish (lol). You guys are great on film together!

      Glad you enjoyed it. This was the first time meeting Jamie and I think we had a fun educational vibe going. Jamie is a cool dude and I hope to hangout with him again soon! 14 day old fish is better than none!

      Thanks man! Jamie is an awesome dude, and one hell of a cook. I was stoked we had a redfish, flounder, and trout to cook up!

    Love the cooking aspect to this episode! Ive been learning so much for watching your vids. Grew up in the area in and around the water but never really learned to fish until I was an adult. Your videos have started to consistently put me onto fish this year after years of not really knowing what I was doing. Been loving the back side of Folly. Keep up the awesome work!

      Hey hearing the vids helped you out on the water is the best compliment I could get! Back side of folly is amazing. So many places to explore and areas to fish. I love how untouched some of it is without docks or development.

    Bro that was one of your best videos loved the catch and cook and the way you explain the fishing techniques. Keep it going my brother

    Awesome video man! If you ever do anything like this again and want a videographer, let me know! I’ve done video work for The Citadel, Riverdogs, and I worked for a company for 2 years doing filming and editing. Outdoor photography and videography is my favorite.

    Nice! Its really hard to describe how much better tasting a fresh caught fish is from something you get from the seafood department at your local Publix. Adding a top level chef into the mix also helps...hahaha

      Yeah for sure! I grew up in Arizona so always thought up fish was kinda gross. It’s because the fish I was getting was gross and not fresh…

    Great fishing and great food! I'm down with the rice and fish combo as habitat brothers.
    If I may correct your Lowcountry pronunciation just a bit:
    Purr-loo ---> per-low
    Sahn-tay ---> Sann-tee
    Great content!

      Hey man, that sounds awesome. Join up with Lowcountry Kayak Anglers. It’s a club, mainly facebook group that does meet ups and tournaments throughout the year. Awesome resource and good guys all around. I’ll see ya out there!
