      Fs. 5-0 stal transfer to fakie. Or maybe fs blunt transfer. I think if you'd slightly wet the concrete and rocks below the surface itll help prevent cracking. Maybe a sheet of plastic to prevent vapourizing. If you own a chissel you could grind two parralel groves and just chissel a channel. This also gives the new layer of concrete some thickness which helps for the strenght and maybe avoids the need of the vinylpatcher.

    I use the 3D Satellite option on iPhone maps to find DIY spots. I found an abandoned tennis court in an isolated part of town! No businesses, no houses, no complaints and no one to get in my way!

      I see you posted this 3 years ago and wanted to know the progress in building at the tennis courts?? In my neighborhood there's 3 abandoned courts but they have security posted there and wanted to know if you ran into any issues???

    • @malibucastle
      @malibucastle หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Mahmoud_Hassan786 You can find other areas that aren't as populated. I found that tennis court on accident. I was looking for flat ground and I ended up putting a quarter pipe and a fun box. I had to sweep the dirt and kill all the weeds growing in the ground. I was fun for a couple months until I had to move lol I suggest looking on maps to find hidden spots.

    Another Killer Video Brother! Definitely one of your best builds! Looks so sick. Now that you have that cordless grinder, you are going to be able to build so much more. Several years ago I bought an inexpensive generator from Harbor Freight for $88. I use it when I'm working at a spot with no electricity to charge up all my cordless tools. Great tool to invest in. Keep Killing It! 💪💥🔥🤘

    Hey Zack! Super nice DIY videos, learnt a lot so far.
    Just a question: do I understand it correctly that the first pour of concreate (wich makes up the tha basics of the shape) is a drier mix wich you then finish of with a more wet concrete mix for the nice smooth finish? Thanks for the reply man, so much appreciated :)

    • @ZackDowdy
      @ZackDowdy  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Stoked they can help! You got that right, drier mix for the fill & a little more pasty/wet for the top.

    hi, you are killing your back and wasting you time by doing the mix this way . open the bags of mortier on the ground , shape it like a volcano and then add your water on the hole . and then yon can do the mix standing up with a shovel taking the mortier from the outside to the center. i hope this tips can help .Love your video and style . Alex, French 43 years sk8ter and builder .

    • @ZackDowdy
      @ZackDowdy  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I've tried this in the past and it got really messy, I've had success with quickcrete but because the mortar is so fine, it kinda ends up spreading out vs mixing. But maybe I should try again!

    Am I crazy or did my dude make a cut but not break out the concrete at the beginning of the transition? What was the point of the cut? Should be so that the riding surface doesn’t taper too thin and break up from rolling over it.

    • @glennramsey3471
      @glennramsey3471 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Or was it broken up but the fill just filled flush to the ground level? Would seem like a waste of time if so? Just curious... I was lookin’ out for it specifically but didn’t really see anything besides the cut
