I'm not sure whats more impressive, your video editing, or your ability to get your fingers within millimeters of that band saw without losing any digits.
This is great. The intro is great, pacing is great, shots are great. Glad this was in my recommended. You're easily the best content creator I've found with so few subs. Keep going, please!
Very nice build sir :) One thing I could humbly suggest is to always add some weathering to your build. In this case, it would of added a lot of depth and dimension to it :) But this is only my personal opinion. Great work again.
I honestly agonized over this. In the end I was too afraid that I would ruin it by messing with it any more. Maybe someday though. With your machining skills I bet you could make this from aluminum. Just a thought ;)
@@wahiwoodworks3324 Just use a proper clear before weathering your props. (Alclad II Lacquers Gloss wont affect the metallic effect) Then, go nuts! As for making one out of aluminum, I lacking skills and machines to do it :)
Thanks. Most of the work went into sanding and shaping all those little pieces for the fingers. I’ve been looking into building ripleys pulse rifle/grenade launcher. Lemme know if you have any other suggestions
I wouldn't have made it past 7:21. I would have just started running around the house going, "Pew! Pew!" and pretending it was a really cool looking gun.
They have. Look it up here on you tube. There was a guy who made a working arm out of wood with strings and pulleys. There was another guy who was obviously a machinist by trade who made one out of aluminum. Another guy made one from paper. I drew inspiration from all of them. In fact I used blueprints from someone here in you tube, I think. I believe I linked in the description.
I have made 3 of these from the cheap-ish chinese resin casts (£80 each) I thought your one was gonna turn out shit..... That looks amazing mate :) really good video, really good project, 10/10 from me :)
Very very impressive, BUT why didnt you make the...fore arm cuff/piston housing of wood as well? you obviously know wood turning. It's interesting to see what can be made in what materials, & what can't, I was surprised to see some one was able to make this entire thing in metal (that took FOUR yrs) how much more could be made in wood do you suppose? I've seen a head to toe wood version by some one in America but it wasnt so impressive, but I still got the feeling it could be done in wood only better. there was also some one that had made an IRON MAN suite on the RPF by using mostly panel beating aluminium around formers. that was done to a professional standard
You need to band together with the other guy on youtube who made the skull. You just need to find more people who produce the "other arm", body, leg, leg, a gifted software engineer and a gifted programmer. If you go hard we might be able to extinguish mankind by 2025 with machines originally thought up by us for a movie. How ironic would that be ^^

I've said it before, but that hairdryer (or heat gun) trick on the foam is awesome! This arm turned out awesome!
Yeah that was really great to watch from start to finish. That really is art you are making

Well thank you very much. I appreciate that
You're sick. You are incredibly talented. I want to buy this...
you're incredibly skilled dude
Awesome job!! This guy has some serious skills!!
absolutly amazing - you did that with wood and heavy machines! At the moment i try this with 3D printing, well that is also a hard job :-))

Awesome job! It looks great!

I definitely picked My nose with the finished hand. I mean, it had to be done
@@wahiwoodworks3324 Hahahaha
Of course.
Why not simply use an Ablative Space Forged Titanium alloy? You can get it at Home Depot.
Lol. Next time.
Very cool. Can I ask what spray your using for the chrome. Is it just a silver?
The best chrome paint I’ve found is krylon original chrome. They don’t carry it in the big box stores where I’m at so I get in from Amazon.
100% Terminator quality.

Nicely done. but a detailed metal print is a different level. I wonder if anyone have made a working arm.
