Making That Viral Die Hard Ornament
It's pretty simple. I spent zero dollars on this because I'm a bit of a hoarder. Merry Christmas.

Making The Sword Of Omens - Thundercats!
มุมมอง 44K4 ปีที่แล้ว
In this video I make the sword of omens. Why? Because I can! And so can you! If you make one, tag me when you post it. I'd love to see it. Thanks for watching. link to the template I used. I just screen captured it, cropped it and printed it out at 310% original size. www.thingiverse.com/thing:3161197 Link to the glass domes I used for the eye of thundera. This is a 5 pack and a few of them wer...

Mid Century Modern Stereo Console
มุมมอง 7K4 ปีที่แล้ว
My grandparents had the coolest 60's era record console/entertainment center I've ever seen. I spent a lot of time lying on the floor in front of it watching braves games with my grandfather and (I kid you not) pro wrestling with my grandmother. This build is an homage to that piece of functional art. music: www.bensound.com/royalty-free-music
Making A Cigar Box Guitar
มุมมอง 1664 ปีที่แล้ว
Full disclosure, the fretboard you see me playing at the end of the video is not the one you see me making earlier in the video. It took me three tries to get the intonation right. Turns out you have to be pretty precise when you lay your fret wire. Who knew? Anyway this was a fun little experiment and if you'd like to try this please don't use this video as reference. Because I have no idea wh...
Making the T-800 Arm
มุมมอง 45K4 ปีที่แล้ว
We got skynet by the balls now. link to the blueprints i used: www.therpf.com/forums/threads/terminator-t-800-blueprints.140617/ Quick note about the blueprints: they are blueprints. Not templates. You'll see me using these plans as templates several times in this video. The only way that will work is to adjust the size of the blueprint when you print it out. Keep that in mind. As always, if yo...
DIY Slip Roll
มุมมอง 2124 ปีที่แล้ว
I needed a small slip roll for an upcoming project. Come to find out they are perplexingly expensive for such simple little machines. So I made my own. If you're in the market for one and don't need to roll anything heavier than 20 gauge steel give this a try. Oh, and if you're looking to this video for welding tips, probably don't do that. I'm a horrible welder. (Wahi WOOD works) Thanks for wa...
Making The Predator Gauntlet - Prop Replica
มุมมอง 16K4 ปีที่แล้ว
I thought I would take a stab at making the predators gauntlet. This one is loosely based on the wolf predator from AVP Requiem. This was my first time working with foam. I'm not a fan. If I did it again I would probably make the outer shell out of aluminum. Oh well. Thanks for watching!

How To Make A Lamp Out Of Rocks

How To Make Chewbacca's Bowcaster // Prop Replica
มุมมอง 2.4K4 ปีที่แล้ว
I made Chewys bow caster. This was a scratch build made mostly from MDF and a little acrylic. This was challenging and while I can't say it's screen accurate, it's pretty damn close. This is the version from the new trilogy, which is different from other versions. Thanks for watching and if you have any questions leave them in the comments.
Pixels - Scrap Wood Art
มุมมอง 2374 ปีที่แล้ว
More art from the scrap bins. Made from Peruvian walnut and maple, this project was an exercise in patience. Something I am sorely lacking. 256 individual pieces glued together to make a pixelated thingamajig to hang on the wall. If you'd like something like this on your wall feel free to drop me a line. Thanks for watching!

Please note that hot glue on metal sticks well at first but quickly does crack off. Just a tip, and this looks amazing! Currently getting my Ghostbusters costume together for halloween and I didn't want to spend $50 on a crappy plastic trap. Thanks!

It has been four years since you made these. Please tell us how many things you ruined by having the string slip out because you drilled the side holes incorrectly. :D

Very very impressive, BUT why didnt you make the...fore arm cuff/piston housing of wood as well? you obviously know wood turning. It's interesting to see what can be made in what materials, & what can't, I was surprised to see some one was able to make this entire thing in metal (that took FOUR yrs) how much more could be made in wood do you suppose? I've seen a head to toe wood version by some one in America but it wasnt so impressive, but I still got the feeling it could be done in wood only better. there was also some one that had made an IRON MAN suite on the RPF by using mostly panel beating aluminium around formers. that was done to a professional standard

So much in here that I am curious about at the moment. Thank you for showing us your many technical solutions. Loved the steel rod bending. And the spot welding on your wood work bench. Your rocks seemed to be quite soft, are they in fact compressed clay and silt. They really did not look very hard.

That's a beautiful piece of mid-century furniture! I see you did 3/4" dado cuts on the top and bottom pieces to support the interior dividers but I do not see their intersections on the front of the final piece. You must have used edge banding?
