Hi Jeff, one thing I like about this kit, and that is the grey plastic, makes more sense to use grey as apposed to the green that Tamiya use, now don't be temptedto start before you finish the GMC, best rsgards from a Kiwi living in Australia 👌👍👌👍👌
Hi Les, Thanks again for watching. It's not easy, but I'm trying to control myself. The Scammell is calling to me. LOL. I think in the older kits, they would mold the plastic close to the actual color of the vehicle so that it wasn't mandatory to paint. It's not that way so much anymore, but they keep right on using those terrible colors. I prefer the gray plastic. buy then again, everyone is different. Have a great day. Jeff

Hi Basil, Thanks for watching. Now you have an excuse to pull your kit out of the stash and build it. I'll be reviewing the Accurate Armour kit soon. I know they were really geared down so they could move a lot of weight with a fairly small engine. They were slow, but if they could get enough traction, they could probably move almost anything. This is a very good model, I made it too. Mine unfortunately fell in a plastic box down the stairs. I still have the photos. PE is a bit thin, but that is the only thing that is a little more difficult. a lot of pinmarks that you have to fill or large pieces that you have to cut away. a very nice model to make.

I built the IBG Scammell pioneer wrecker, I have a crusader mk2 and I had plans to put that on the back of one of these. Looking forward to this
