This is a great kit Jeff. Looking forward to you working your magic on this model. Good luck!
Hi Steve, Thanks again for watching. I really appreciate your comment. Have a great day. Jeff
hi Jeff... another kit with a GA-zillion small parts... i love your attention to detail.. thx 4 sharing.. vinny
Hi Vinny, Thanks again for watching. No, this one is pretty easy, only half a GA-zillion parts. LOL. Have a great day. Jeff
This is going to be a great looking vehicle Jeff, very unique. Take care buddy. Johnny
Hi Johnny, Thanks again for watching. I think they only built about 7 or 8 of these, so they are pretty rare. Have a great day. Jeff
hi Jeff... i'm not getting notified when you upload a vid...i had to do a search to see if you posted & you did ...this one & i think another...looks like a great kit for the GB ..have fun with it.. thx 4 sharing.. vinny
Hi Vinny, Thanks again for watching. I've had the same trouble with YT, I unsubscribe and then resubscribe to a channel and that seems to fix it. Have a great day. Jeff
Hey Jeff..... Did the otter get painted... Or did i miss it ...... Interesting little model this ... Keep up the good content
Hi Darren, Thanks for watching. I have primed, but as of yet, not painted the Otter. It will be painted very soon. I have a bad habit, that I am going to try hard to break, of starting new projects before finishing my current builds. I enjoy building much more than painting, so I am always anxious to get onto the next build. Have a great day. Jeff
A fiberglass pen will take care of the knockout marks.
Hi Dan, thanks for watching. I have used the fiberglass pencils for removing glue marks. I'll have to give it a try on the ejector pin marks. Thanks for the tip. Have a great day. Jeff
@@JeffDonahueScaleModeling it will eat them up Jeff!
Hi Jeff! That kit is coming along nicely! I’ve been a glutton for punishment lately with 2 1/72 scale builds. A atomic bomb and a ww1 armored vehicle. 1/35 will seem big once I get going on them again. Have a good one my friend!
Hi Marley, Thanks again for watching. 1/72 is really a challenge, especially if you are going to add detail. I would enjoy seeing them when you get a chance. 1/35 is about right as far as I'm concerned, lots of detail, but they don't take up a huge amount of space to display. I hope you had a great holiday my friend. Jeff
Hi Jeff, great start! This is a very interesting build and subject, quite a lot of parts as well by the look of it. New camera will take some time to get used to, but it's sharp and has quick focus. Have a great day, Dom
Hi Dom, Thanks again for watching. I'm glad you enjoyed the video. I still need to improve my lighting. The video seems a little dark to me. All in good time! Have a great day. Jeff
Looking good jeff . Regards Gav.
Thanks for watching marra. Have a great day. Jeff
Nice work as always mate Harry Houdini built the same kit.
Hi Bilge, Thanks for watching. How are you these days? I remember Harry's build. He did a really nice job. Have a great day. Jeff
Interesting subject. Looking good so far Jeff
Hi Paul, Thanks for watching. I appreciate the comment. Have a great day. Jeff
If fragile parts break when even Jeff clips them off the sprue, you can see why I’m terrified to start on this AFV Club M88A1 ARV. Good thing is it looks like the same wheel mask template I bought for the Bradley will work on this kit too. I will enjoy watching your build Jeff.
Hi Scotty, Thanks for watching. It's pretty easy to snap a part now and then. What I hate is opening a new kit and finding a bunch of broken and damaged parts due to poor packing on the manufacturers end. AFV make some really nice kits. You will have a lot of fun building it. Wheel masks are a bonus. I wish everyone would include them. Have a great day. Jeff
Hey Jeff, you are off to a great start on your Schlepper! What a cool-looking machine! Have a great week my friend!
Hi Ed, Thanks again for watching. It's a pretty rare vehicle. I'm enjoying the build. You have a great week to buddy. Jeff
Interesting vehicle! 🤞
Hi Ron, Thanks for watching. I appreciate the comment. Have a great day. Jeff
Hi Jeff, that is a great start to the build, hope you have a great time during this build, you mentioned your long vision, well I went to the optician yedterday and must get a new prescription, oh well such is life, happy modelling cobber, very best regards from a Kiwi living in Australia, Les
Hi Les, Thanks again for watching. I'm glad you enjoyed the video. I need to get into the doctor soon, I think I probably need bifocals. Have a great day cobber. Jeff
Hi Jeff, That is a neat looking kit. Good luck with it. Always enjoy your builds!
Hi Joe, Thanks for watching. You know how much I like the unusual vehicles! Have a great day. Jeff
Looks like a really nice kit Jeff. Unusual subject too! Looking forward to more. Thanks for sharing!
Hi Patrick, Thanks for watching. I'm glad you enjoyed the video. These are pretty rare, I think there were less than a dozen built. Have a great day. Jeff
Interesting looking build Jeff, have a great day
@@martinpedley7595 Hi Martin, thanks again for watching. Have a great day. Jeff
Now that's an interesting kit, wonder how many vehicles were actually built, and the uses?
@jefffranckowiak8911 Hi Jeff, thanks for watching. It's my understanding that there were only 7 or 8 from the original order of 14 that were actually put into service. There were prototypes of 3 other variations built and tested, but never put into production. So, it's a pretty rare vehicle. Have a great day. Jeff
@JeffDonahueScaleModeling thanks Jeff!
I see where you are using a steel rule to align the suspension and other assemblies, which is necessary. Instead of a thin rule, I have several basswood sticks in various lengths and widths that I use for alignment purposes. My favorite size is 1/4 x 1/2 x 8 inch piece which covers most applications I need to align. Thin strips of basswood or poplar wood resists warping. Of course, I sometimes make different sizes if needed. Generally, these are much easier to handle than a thin ruler when aligning narrow work pieces. The need for a ruler is still often needed due to its thinness. Thank you for all of your videos as I always pick up a tip or two! Please keep em coming!
Hi OKcmodeler2, Thanks for watching. I am glad you enjoyed the video. I have several straight edges, I do use the steel rule often. I don's like to take a chance with the alignment of the poor fitting parts found in some kits. Have a great day. Jeff
Nice Work Jeff
Hi James, Thanks for watching. Have a great day. Jeff
I knew you were gonna build this. I happen to have the bronco version and I’m tempted to jump in with you. How do you like the camera?
Hi James, Thanks again for watching. You should get your kit out and build along. I really like the camera. I need to upgrade my lighting, the videos seen a little dark to me. I have my camera mounted in a cage and suspended over the bench with a flex arm stand. I have a cable running from the HDMI port on the camera to a 43" 4k TV and the USB running to my computer to download files. Have a great day. Jeff
Hi Jeff i hope you’re well? What a fantastic interesting look kit, very usual, cheers Liam
Hi Liam, Thanks for watching. I'm doing fine, I hope you are as well. Thank you for your kind words. Have a great day. Jeff
Keep up the good work ❤
Thanks for the comment, I appreciate it. Have a great day. Jeff
Jeff do you still want those reference books on the AFVs?
Hi Michael, Thanks for watching. I had completely forgotten about the books you told me about. Any reference material would be appreciated. You can reach me a jeffdonahuescalemodeling@gmail.com Have a great day. Jeff

I am so glad you have decided to do both Jeff, looking forward to them.
Hi Jason, Thanks for watching. I hope you get to feeling better soon! Jeff
Dear Jeff I missed this first time around, so thank you for the link. I am now really looking forward to your build. Cheers Phil

Hi Dave, Thanks for watching. It was hard to pick the one I wanted to build first. I'll be building both very soon. Have an amazing 2025! Jeff

Hi Dom, Thanks for watching. I'll be building the Buffalo soon enough. I'm glad you enjoy my little videos. Have an amazing 2025. Jeff
Hi Jeff. Nice choice both. Looking forward to seeing how they turn out. I'm building a ship - first time ever, I think. Got the Italeri DUKW that I might do as well in the background. I've also been looking at the Airfix SR-N1 hovercraft that might be a quick interlude!
Hi Graeme, Thanks for watching. All the kits you have are great. It sounds like you are going to be very busy. Have an amazing 2025. Jeff
Oh wow the Water Buffalo! Anyway enjoy the build Jeff - cheers
Hi John, Thanks for watching. I'll get the Land Wasser Schlepper well on it's way before I start the Water Buffalo, but I do plan to do both this spring. Have an amazing 2025! Jeff
