I build real pretty arrows but it's pricy and takes me a week. I like your video as it shows a faster functional way to get it done. I love how with wood there's just a ton of ways to build them. Great video
Cool video Jimmy. Have always enjoyed making wood arrows. You showed everyone the correct way to do it. Building a new osage selfbow out at Mark’s need to get some new cedars and fix them up.

I've never shot woods, only carbons so please bear with me if this is a stupid question - Do you tune them like you do carbons? i.e., Bare-shaft them (or whatever method you use) and cut/play with point weight until they fly well and then fletch? Or just pick the right weight spine, leave them full length, and the wood is forgiving enough that they shoot well?
Yes to all of the above, but you have to be careful bare shafting wood. If you are way off you can snap a shaft and it will end up going through your arm or hand.

Those are full length and around 450g.
