The sheets of acrylic were offcuts marked down very cheap, it doesn’t go cloudy & is harder to scratch than lexan. There are some aftermarket windshield makers who use acrylic too. I haven’t had any issues with cracking. Might give the lexan a go though next time I make one just to see what it’s like to work with 🙂
