THANK YOU. I've literally been doing all these mistakes that you mentioned and I was scratching my head as to why I keep losing. When you go search for beginner's tips, all websites and videos are simply explanations on how to play. When you search for tips in general, many of them are directed towards more advanced players and give very specific tips that go way over my inexperienced newbie head. These tips really helped me and I wanted to thank you for that!
6:37 - hey new players...pay attention to the weapon attack right here. They guy attacks and kills the 3/2 because it is smaller and will deal less damage back than the 6/3. Something to always consider..if you are going to leave a minion alive to attack you, you can basically just count the damage from the minion as if it is going to be deal anyway. In this case, there are 15 points of attack in play. One of those minions will be dead from the weapon attack, but all 15 will be dealt since they will be able to attack directly. If you are reluctant to kill a large minion, but it is going to deal it's damage to you anyway, then just take the hit and finish it off. In other words (in this example), you are going to take 15 damage by the end of your opponent's turn anyway...would you rather leave your opponent with a 6/3 in play or a 3/2 in play? The play made here was strictly the wrong play and he should have attacked the 6/3 instead.
To add to this old ass comment. Not only do you end up taking less damage by killing the ogre first but if you leave the ogre alive you run the risk of it being healed or the opponent could play a taunt which would result in you taking even more damage over leaving the ooze alive. You take more damage in the short term but you take less damage in the long term and when you are almost full health you can afford that short term hit.
While the tips were helpful, the video in the background is distracting as heck because it has nothing to do with what you're talking about. It's just random gameplay.
Cheetah only flaw? He chose to pass his turn at 10:32, letting the priest choose whether to trade or not. If you have a minion that can trade 1 for 1 vs a taunt, and your alternative is to not attack but pass, you should always make the trade. The priest can buff his minion, use a spell to kill yours, play a cult master before making the trade, play a ghoul, the only benefit of leaving your 5/3 there would be if he played the senjin but didn’t kill the 5/3, playing for your opponent to misplay is never a good idea
tldr 1 don't waste mana crystal 2 deck full of 1 cost is bad 3 only attacking enemy hero an leaving his minions up 4 vs enemy with 51 card. use fire blast not 35 senjin shieldmasta 5 save minion killing spells for strong enemy cards.
7 year old video... here i am trying to understand the fundamentals of hearthstone as a new player. Thank you! Hope you are doing well, I have subscribed because I realize you only have 2k subs!
1. using silverback patriarch 2. using silverback patriarch 3. making a deck full of taunt cards 4. using goldshire footman 5. using silverback patriarch
made all these mistakes when i first started just here to check if i have any other stupid newbie mistakes im still making lmao. also love how you intensively click those logs on fire while waiting cuz thats just me okay bro? awsome video keep it going
This is a pretty good video now that I've been playing a bit but if I was just starting out i wouldn't know the cards you were talking about and certain other terms.
Very good video. I played Hearthstone for 3 days now I LOVE THE GAME man. Already done the campaign and pushing apprentice 20. Donno whats my next move to get most new cards next
Good tips for newer players. I just wish the video part of the video had either more relevant gameplay to what you're discussing or just graphics that explain what it is you're saying.
I'm so lost lol. I'm trying to play the solo adventures and learn the game, there are so many cards i have no idea what anything even means at this point. I'm sure iI'll get it eventually but I'm like two heroes in to the mage prologue and can't beat the 2nd hero lol. It says to 'create a deck that counters the boss" which i get the idea but I don't even know whats happening half the time to counter anything lol. Can i just put any cards that i own in a deck, or are there cards that only work with their own set type of thing. I opened a bunch of free packs and now it's so confusing i have so many new cards and on mobile it takes forever to look through everything!
Oh yeah, this game having so much to learn was one of the reasons I took too long to play this game. I was a teenager, I'd probably be very good at it by now if I just played it
his lisp is way less than mine and he is probably more insightful. I'm just wondering why I'm up at two seeing you guys defend him. most people give him salty advice. I'm sleeping in like 5 minutes but..... .. butt . .... He is doing pretty good. I'm gonna watch more and then start playing tomorrow

ThePestilentDefiler while that may seem like a good play, you technically only buff the next minion you draw (obviously with the rest of the deck). For example, you coin him turn 1 and it buffs your deck. Great. Next card you draw is a spell. Well now you just wasted the coin. If you save the coin and use him turn 2 you only miss out on 1 buffed card (that is if you draw a minion on turn 2).
+taipan2021 In most cases yes. I only meant to point out that a turn 2 rogue hero power is a better play than most other hero powers. If you were running Defias Ringleader you might make that play but current meta rogue decks you never would.

i just literally started today and i kinda figured this half these things were bad on my own... I mean, Yugioh has a basic idea similar to this ruleset
game is using rigged algorithm so it makes sure you have 40 % wins..LOL...sad way to play some game...and kids think this is skill based game..LOL..this is 2018 dude....why do you think 90 % of active players left this game :) not much fun knowing you win thanks to 40 % garanteed wins.,.. so that means all games are predecided...as most said during many years but kids couldnt handle the fact...now that we know exactlly what games are using this algorithm many games lost the general player base...rigged games to make customers are not fun...as we can see.
lmao, this game is absolute garbage, I lol Blizzard, but this game is entirely RNG based, there is no skill what so ever. Don't even pretend it's not, I'm someone with horrible luck, and I can guarantee, no matter how many tutorials you watch, how many legendary's you have, it's RNG. I've tried giving this game a try, but it's trash, absolute garbage. The game automatically puts me with players that have all legendary's, sometimes you'll get lucky and match up against someone who is going to immediately surrender to lower his ELO. But honestly Blizzard did a crap job with this game. I'm surprised it's so high up in ranking on twitch. Not to mention the 25$ expansions lmao. Listen, if you're going to try and convince me that this game is the best game ever, or that I'm an idiot, throw in some sense. If you're just going scream at me because of my opinion, shut your face, no one wants to hear that crap.
I agree, the only reason the people that consistently get legend, actually make it every month is just them playing for like 12 hours everyday, until the get lucky and its still takes them a whole month.
TonyGAMING I literally just got this game and the only thing I'm wondering is why you took time out of your day to type all this out about a game you hate and don't play.... why are you even watching this video LMAO
TonyGAMING you just suck at the game. you have to play around clears and make smart decisions when trading. Sure mtg is better, but when cards are printed, you can make the game a lot more interactive. this is the best desktop. card game, behind maybe shadowverse

Until he started talking bout the ogre.
It's the only little flaw in this video though, thanks for making it Darkskeleton :)
why does it have to connect? he's commentating.
TvK Guardian well good commentary can only be made better by a good supporting video that gives you info or examples

LMAO! New player here. Fuck that lmao
thats exactly what I'm doing lol just started a week ago
silverback patriarch is the number one mistake of all new players imo. I'm new been playing for 2 days and already took him off all my 9 basic decks
Guess ill figure out why this is a mistake myself when i start the game tonight.
Whats wrong with silverback? Lol

Awesome video! I didn't even think of half these things. Are you going to make more in the future?
:D
Great Video
background music???? - is it from pink panther?
I coin out knife juggler.
Jacob Martinez thought I was the only one :')
Not terrible in theory but it often gets removed quickly. So it's worth just playing it on curve
Jacob Martinez Prince Keleseth is my favorite to coin out. I win 90% of games i can coin him out turn 1.

DSG Complex I coin into double shadow step
awesome tips, helped a lot how to polish out
Coin hero power first turn
SICK COMBOS
I love Cthun one shotting it’s fun
I am a new player, but I didn't find this to helpful because I was already doing what you said in the video
endreask but i hope you didn’t disliket the video because of that.
The fact you haven’t learn anything new doesn’t makes the video bad.
@@GamER_WIN No! the tips where great, it was just that I didn't need them. I didn't dislike the video
Thank you, I found this very helpful !
Yeah but i started yesterday, and i can already see the ultimate strat in the game is level 1 Nat Pagle... :?
when playing as a rogue you usually should keep the coin for turn 2 coin into si7 or turn 3 coin into violet teacher
+taipan2021 In most cases yes. I only meant to point out that a turn 2 rogue hero power is a better play than most other hero powers. If you were running Defias Ringleader you might make that play but current meta rogue decks you never would.

Thanks for the video
Dude.....remake the video with the actual tactics you are talking about. New players have no idea what you are talking about.
SO AS A DUDE WHO STARTED YESTERDAY THIS SHIT IS NON RELEVANT?
It's better than wizard101 plus you don't have to fizz if you do fizz you can changed the card cuz the cards are different
You wouldn't happen to be a secureteam10 fan would you?
Always turn 1 coin into Keleseth.
yea thats exeption
Too much jargon slang, not geared to new players
yes, thweats on the boawd awe powerfuw
the worst mistake i made was disechanting all my shit to make 1 deck i thought i was so smart ayayay
We didnt learn from our mistakes brotha 😅
It wasn't that helpful but it did point out a few good things.
Wtf is a mana curve

this is what its like when you ask a girl what she wants to eat
Musty madman XD
Yikes!
if the first party is real, you'll learn sooner
Biggest mistake new players make? How about the only mistake they make......they dont play the dumbest most op class in the entire game....Hunter.
Yeah not worth shit if your playing agains a dr boom worrior.... i learned that the hard way, they will shut down combos left and right
