Like Tutu and Kreahe are Odette and Odile from Swan Lake, and there's a character named Hermia who's named after someone in a Shakespeare play! And Drosselmeyer is named after the uncle (or is it grandfather?) in the nutcracker! I know a lot of random trivia because I wrote two essays on PT for school lol

Ngl I liked the ending. If Duck got her happy ending, then it would've made all the talk about Princess Tutu's terrible fate ring hollow, and it wouldn't be as satisfying. Plus, it's such a nice change of pace for the main guy (Mytho) to pick someone that isn't the main girl in the end, even though I do have the sentiment that Duck and Fakir probably should've just given up on Mytho and got together lol. At the very least though, the ending was just ambiguous enough that it's possible for Fakir to write a story where Duck becomes human again. That's something I'd love to see officially done, although for now Princess Tutu Zwei is an amazing substitute
