      @@m90dar I agree that they are funny people and half of the things are not translated properly. I know this because I speak Spanish and when it's translated in english it's never translated fully ,plus when it's translated in english it's not the same or as funny sometimes it doesn't even make sense .I'm working on understanding the pakistan language and mandarin as well it's beautiful knowing different languages, currently I speak 3 languages fully so for now I'm working on two more .

      @@frankie4919 Nah, they said they were "hard". Even cooked properly, noodles can be eaten by someone with no teeth. That's their nature. Noodles just aren't steak.

      I agree, I've been living in Italy for almost 20 years now...I collapsed again when I saw the brand of the tomato sauce...didn't really expect that one popping up :-)

      The dish is called kadaif,angel hair pasta is baked and after its baked you add syrup to it and cook it down until the noodles absorb all the syrup let it cool down and its a fenomenal desert.

    I am half Italian and Hispanic. My father is from Italy.....the spaghetti they are eating looks so bland. Let me make them some spaghetti... I am sure they would like it. I have made it for my friends from India and they loved it. So many tomatoes and veggies for those who do not eat meat. Or for those who eat beef OSOBUCCO. Love you gentlemen. I love this channel.

    That pasta does not look like its cooked properly. It was the same with the lasagna, if you feed them a dish they aren't familiar with and you prepare it wrong then they won't know what it's really like.

      Yeah. Pasta has be cooked correctly, and it needs an actual sauce. It would be like having people try bread for the first time but its burnt or raw. Of course they wont like it.

    This was the FUNNIEST video I have ever seen! I could not stop laughing! The way they looked at it, the brilliant way Tahir wrapped the noodles around his fork and said Italians must be toothless (and other things), Khan worried about his mustache and quickly stuffing it into his mouth to avoid embarrassment, and the way Chaudhary looked at the camera with the noodles hanging out of his mouth. This was the BEST entertainment ever, and Tahir is the perfect comedian! Priceless. Thank you!

    Spaghetti is easiest to eat with a stab and twist, it wraps itself around the fork. I love your videos and am so interested in learning g more of culture. So I thank you and send blessings.

      I pick up some with the fork and twist it inside a spoon. Nice and tidy....mostly. 😀

      I just shove it down into the thickest part and twirl. Makes a nice little ball of spaghetti. Also, if the noodles are too long, you can break in half before cooking, or cut them with a fork before eating... Just kind of press through the thickest part of the pile in a few directions and it'll chop up the spaghetti into smaller strings.

      Olive Garden sucks. Homemade garlic bread is better than full course meals at many places. Idk why ppl always talk about Olive Garden when it comes to Americanized pasta. I know nobody that actually likes to eat at Olive Garden.

    As a cook I would love to make some of these dishes for them with meat sauce, or meatballs. You guys do your best, but I feel they fall short of the originals and they don't like them as much as they would.

    I'm really enjoying watching the new guy start to come out of his shell. Also I've been noticing how much healthier and even plumper the participants are looking wearing better clothes etc. 🙂 That makes me certain they are giving profits to the panel.       I am sorry Northernborn girl. My family is all from Italy. I grew up on continental cuisine (European food.) ?I have lived in Tennessee?foe 20 years. I am well familiar with "Sunday Gravy" Sorry!. It just doesn't. WORK for my guests that are?used?to 5 star Micheline meals. My comments about spoiled Italians.in Italy still run true but Sunday gravy has NO place with dishes such as GIGOT alla MOUTARD.paired with a good Bordeaux wine

    Tell them stab it down with the fork and twirl the fork in a circle till it's wrapped around then pick the fork up lol easier to eat that way!

      Yes. There should be a 'demo' video for them to watch first of someone cooking and eating whatever it is they're trying out. That way we can get their reaction to that AND the food itself.

    Maybe have them try slow cooked sauce with roasted garlic, caramelized onions, mixed sweet peppers, olives, fresh Roma tomato, olive oil, italuan sausage, chopped beef,, and Italian spices. They would probably like that.
    One other thing, it is much easier to eat if they use a spoon and fork. You scoop some of the noodles with the fork to the spoon and twirl the fork. Or just twirl the fork to the plate so the noodles wrap to the fork tines.

    There are many people here in the states that actually do add a small amount of sugar to the spaghetti. Its helps cut the acidity from the tomatoes and reduces heartburn.

      YES...it's definitely part of a good recipe. It makes the sauce smooth. Without sugar, the acid makes it sharp. A small amount of baking soda will do the same thing, because it too kills acid. Sugar adds an undetectable flavor if the right amount is used, but only sparingly.

      @@joantrotter3005 LOL.. you get it ! same here. I said the same thing before reading your reply. I once put too much and it foamed like a rabid dog, and I thought..no, I KNEW that I ruined it. I couldn't even detect it. Now I use it and sugar. Take out a teaspoon full before adding both, and put it aside. Then add both, let it cook a few minutes and take out another teaspoon full to taste side by side, and let them both cool. For something so simple, the difference in taste, and smoothness is incredible !

    We use a fork & knife. Spaghetti gets 1 night a week in our home. We combine 50% ground beef w/ 50% italian pork sausage, diced onions ,green peppers, mushrooms, red peppers, tomato's, blk olives , sauce & noodle. Usually served w/ garlic butter bread. Its sloppy with kids but they usually love it. It's a thrill watching you guys try our foods, ty for sharing some of you'r foods with us. May God keep you healthy.

    My family is from Italy (Now in the US). I’ve seen people struggle while eating Spaghetti. We were taught at an early age to wrap and spin the pasta around the fork against a large spoon. It’s an art. LOL love these guys! ❤️

      Eating techniques are so specific to the culture you are eating with. When I had to learn how to use chopsticks it was a riot and a mess the first few times but, when I had to eat with my hand (and only my right hand) it took more than a few meals to get it right! Much to the amusement of my Indian hosts. Even the 4 years olds pointed and laughed! :D

    A fun episode would be to show them the over 600 pasta shapes available for different uses and showing them that while close in size, vermicelli ("little worms" in Italian) is slightly thicker than spaghetti. 2.3mm vs about 2.0mm. (And that vermicelli is actually an Italian invention.)

      @@YTcygnus True but...at least it wasn't a pile of undressed pasta with a scoop of ketchup on top. To be honest, some of my pasta with red sauce (important distinction coming..."gravy" red sauce comes from cooking meatballs and/or sausage in it as opposed to without) has looked like that on occasion. However, when trying to convince people to try something new, best foot forward is always a better move. Funny, they use the vermicelli frequently and pasta has that was well. Curious to see what theirs looks like. Just for laughs, I'm be interested in seeing them exposed to cotton candy. We'll get these healthy people looking like Americans in short order if these "trys" continue.

    Twirl fork in spaghetti to wrap up smaller portions. It is common to use a spoon to help with this, not an extra fork. And sprinkle on parmesan cheese. Meatballs would be good too. I usually don't bother. I just cook up ground beef and add it. Those would make the spaghetti taste so much better. Serve with a slice of garlic toast.

    They should have been provided a piece of bread and shown how to twirl the spaghetti around the fork and using the bread or spoon to assist. The spaghetti didn't have enough sauce on it.

      I think the lack of sauce was probably from the Italian method of serving it, but for me, that nomnomnom yumminess where I want to slurp it all up requires lots of sauce, generally flying all over my face & table!

    Real spaghetti, red sauce, not just noodles like this is, fresh herbs, mushrooms, onion, zucchini, egg plant, peppers, oregano, zesty spices, very good. This looks almost like canned. Real lovely spaghetti, my favorite dish on earth, but less noodles and lots of sauce, cheese on top. Its tomato sauce, with oregano and lots of veggies. Meatballs or chicken traditionally.

      What you're describing certainly isn't Italian spaghetti. Basil is traditional, NOT oregano (and that's the variety of jarred sauce that they used - Basilico). Italians DO NOT use "lots of sauce." Meatballs are fine but they are Italian-American. Italians don't traditionally eat meatballs with spaghetti. And who has chicken and vegetables on their spaghetti?! Try olive oil with garlic and anchovies.

    It looks like the noodles are a tad undercooked and there could be more sauce. There doesn’t look to be any meat 🥩 sauce to it or meatballs. I think they would have enjoyed it more. Regardless I adore them all and love watching them try new dishes! Simply the best!

    I went in the opposite direction: I started out by eating Italian-style spaghetti first, starting at a very young age, then had the sweetened Middle-Eastern / Asian style vermicelli much later in life when I went to a wonderful restaurant / coffee shop / tearoom / patisserie in Kensington (London) called Fait Maison Salon de Thé
    . The sweetened vermicelli took me by surprise after all those decades of savoury pasta, but I still really enjoyed it. Wonderful establishment, highly recommended!
