Mushra was supposed to show up in the episode featuring Mefilas, instead of the Alien, but the script was rewritten so the villain would appear. This episode was written by Mr. Kiyohide Ohara, who would later work in the Toei Fushigi Comedy Series, which featured many episodes where inanimated objects and plants were able to talk. He did write some episodes for Taro, but under pseudonyms, since he was working on other projects at the time. In the original script there would be thousands of mushrooms infesting the city, but it was difficult and costly to do so at the time. So they had to do the scene with a large one instead. Nowadays it would be easier to do exactly as in the script using CG, since miniatures are still expensive, as well as the manpower to position all those tiny things around.
The mushroom 🍄 type Kaiju, Mashura such a creepy enemy, turn human being into mushroom as slave, i do not want meet this Kaiju, luckily Mashura not famous Ultra Kaiju at all, so i would not meet this Kaiju again. I not feel lonely too because i have Ultraman Taro that will made my life happy everyday 😊. Seems like every buddy feel still want to eat that mushrooms despite they still remember Mashura, that mushrooms is too delicious to miss, so eat that mushrooms 😋.
