In the original script, Officer Nishida would make a brief return and Seiko would be his mother. And he would go back to the space station in a rocket. Perhaps that's why there was one in the last scene when Seiko goes to heaven. It's not known why the script was changed, but it's more likely due to the Mr. Kiyotaka Mitsugi's schedule. Car accidents were a big problem at the time. As could be seen in the first Ultraman at the episode with Hydra, and in Spectreman with Kuruma Nikuras. There was also a song called 老人と子供のポルカ (Polka for Gramps and his kids) in which there was a plea to stop with those accidents at the second part.

This episode reminds me of Dr freeze in Batman and Robin. Dr freeze love his wife so much that he kept her in frozen state. This guy love his wife so much that he create a robot image of her.
That was a weird episode. We got to see people being killed off by car accidents, cops being murdered and... A fisherman self-taught on robotics creating a robot that somehow managed to create a giant monster. In times like this, we wish they simply had it be a yapool plot. The more I think about it, the more it feels like an episode that would have worked on Ace.
Elegia costume is modified from Birdon (one of the Taro's most famous nemesis) costume and Elegia's roar is completely reuse Birdon's roar. Keep forward, Ultraman Taro 🤗!
This was a surprisingly weak bird kaiju. They're usually much tougher. And how did nobody see Kotaro transform _this_ time? He wasn't even trying to be subtle XD

I wonder if Elegia is a cousin of birdon. The familiar roar and bird design is hard to ignore.
