Nice finds that pipe with a picture on it was wonderful. Thanks for sharing your video with us all. Your friend Shirley from new Bern, north Carolina USA.❤❤❤😮🎉🎉🎉🎉😅😊
Hey Si my niece Paula gifted me a gorgeous upcycled green Victorian bottle. Wow when showing a family member the vase...another mudlarking family member stumbled upon the very episode whereby YOU dug up MY bottle/vase. Wow wow wow!! We love you across the pond. Especially during these crazy times. Thank you Thank you 😊
Just to let you know how much you are loved, I put your video up on the 80" screen in the Common Room of my 55+ Senior Apartments so I could share you with my neighbors. I nearly wet my pants when a 86 year old fancy lady and a 79 year old stoegy lady both were verbalizing that you were their luck in the much. BUT that was not the funniest part, One said where were the men like him when I was his age and the other said "Honey in this day and times age doesn't matter" hahahaha You better watch yourself hahaha I NEVER EVER expected this to be the conversation lol. I am 57 and my son was 26 when he died in a car accident in May but I have always seen you as one of his friends and the last thing I expected was for these 2 old gals to be talking fresh about you lol It has totally made my day hahaha. I guess she got it wrong and wants to be your Mud Lover hahaha. Thank you for sharing your adventures with us. I love watching with the older ladies because they will talk about some items you find that they remember as children or in their past and I love their stories. I love history. God Bless
@@Sifinds I am discovering he was loved by all (well nearly all lol) As a child I drug him through about 100 small town museums and many Civil War re-enactments in VA and NC (I am in US) He had a great respect & passion for all things old so my pleasure for history was not lost on him. Seriously these old girls here think you are such a polite respectful intelligent and crafty young man.... what an image to have to keep up lol. I also have to agree with them. My Sundays are spent watching mudlarkers, beachcombers, dump diggers and metal detectorers in the UK. I love you and Nicola, Bill, Alex & Mom, Kate & Mom, Digger, Mark lol and any other one yall introduce us to. I have also loved going back thru all of Martin Zero and all the amazing history he shares that is not usual history. But I love my UK treasures... all of yall. Keep up the great work Simon, remember you are very loved and your kindness screams to our hearts and we cherish the time we have with you on screen. You are Awesome and Brilliant. Again Thank you for the journey!
talbertsmom ....thank you for sharing your story! I also drug my kids to museums and civil war re-enactments until they started begging to go and still talk about it as adults. I am in Washington State. Big hug to you for being your son’s mom💙
Simon has become famous😃 just read a huge article on Daily Mail about his mudlarking adventures! It's a great story! Love your channel Si Finds! Take care!
I pulled out a hand held scythe from the local brook recently and i'm planning to restore it and give the decayed handle a new resin cast one that shows the old beneath it. Could do with your sharpener! ;)
I try to watch it right after church. I appreciate that there isn't a bunch of cursing and vulgarity. Thank you for that, Si. Best of success to you all in the mud, dirt, and muck. JiLomL!
Whoa😯 Simon and Tim, some really great finds!!! I fell for the paint brush handle at first, but to find out it was a scythe sharpen was WAY cool👍🏻!!! Never saw that coming!! I too love the teapot... very personal. Someone enjoyed their "spot of tea" on a daily basis. Perhaps a🌬️☔ frosty english morning or after a tiring day of work 🥵. Thanks for helping out Mr. or Ms. caterpillar 🤗, another beautiful butterfly 🦋 to enjoy. Stay safe and healthy, my friend 🤗🤭😘.
Good morning Si! It’s been a few weeks since I was able to watch your video as soon as it is uploaded. Thank you for always bringing us such great content! Have a great day!
I enjoyed your dump dig, can't wait for next week. The ceramic, glass, and sometimes wood eggs were used to place under setting hens to encourage laying more. Then the real eggs might be returned to the nest for the hen to 🐣
Wow! Why can't I find a cool bottle dump like that? Awesome items! I have got to say Sy, I like your style! Thanks for saving that Caterpillar, soon he will no doubt be one of those beautiful butterflies, thanks to you!
Si, you are wonderful. I am a fan from atlanta and Ive been fighting cancer. Yours and Nic's videos have been a great source of joy for me, and Ive watched them multiple times. Sending you a big hug, dear man!!
Simon, I got so tickled when you said “buggar ” because my Mother would say that all the time when she got frustrated. When we moved from Bermuda to the States, she brought her naughty words with her. I have used it many times myself after hearing it my whole life😂. I have since lost her but this triggered a funny memory. 💕🥰
6:30 : it's a stone to sharpen scythes ; usually worn at the belt in a pointed metal canister (or a cow's horn) filled with water by the man harvesting the wheat. (oops answered before I saw you had the solution coming up!)

There is a pub called The White Swan in Twickenham. It was built in the 1700’s and a painting of it hangs over the fireplace. It was painted by Samuel Scott in 1760. Not sure it’s where the broken bottle is from though. Love your videos. Hugs from Sweden 🇸🇪 ❤
What is Si up to this week? Dry muck or mud muck,,,you might create a Frankenstein's Monster Teapot, surely there is a tea pot handle and lid about the place? And a little glue? A new branch of Si's future, onward and upward. Stay safe and Carry On🍀
Seeing the butterflies was lovely, thanks. Your new ‘ring’ doesn’t exactly fit, lol. I like the sugar stirrer/glass nail, it’s unusual. Wonderful view of Parliament.
A big tease at the end! Ahhh I have to wait until next week! Love the bottle dump videos. Love all your videos really. The variety keeps me coming back!
Hoped you kept the teapot as it would look lovely with flowers potted in it. I’m reading the comments and it seems most of the ladies think you are a Stud Muffin. You should send out a ‘hi’ for the two elderly ladies. 💖
If I just had a good place to dig Si Finds and Tim! But I can do the Minnie archaeology here in my chair without the muck and dirt. But the muck and dirt are part of the fun and adventure! So Gentleman, Good Luck inna Muck and Kind Thanks! Now I'm off into the new week waiting for more digging!! Love, Light, Luck, Peace and early hand blown onion bottles in perfect condition! Hi Si, I was listening to Steve Wright in the afternoon today, some fella called Si has an unusual hobby of mudlarking along the thames foreshore!, wonder who that was? great channel and videos.
Thanks again Simon for a great video. Love the cliff hanger. I will certainly tune in next week to watch. Dump digging dressed up a bit with butterflies/ moths and a caterpillar is relic digging and nature at its best. The sharping tool was cool find. Have a great week and keep safe.
Can't wait to see part two! How wonderful that you had a whole ink bottle even though it's been burnt! Goes to show how amazingly they were made to withstand fire and age! I have a few that were given to me by a seasoned digger in Minnesota!
As always, a great video! I agree with your friend, the old teapot would make a great plant pot :) I could picture a pretty fern in it. Nice finds on the bottles, too bad this time so many were broken. I could see taking lots of the broken bits, and using cement, making some great pavers for the garden by imbedding the pretty colored glass bits into the cement, making sure to push down enough so no rough edges were sticking up. When the sun hits them, they would look really pretty :). Thanks for a great video :)
I absolutely love these Victorian dump digs! So many eclectic finds 👍😊 pipes, bottles, ink pots and that repurposed teapot vase? maybe? Waiting impatiently for Part II Thanks Si - love from Denmark 🌸 💕

Don't down the poor teapot. It may have value because of the color. Look at some of McCoy ware from USA and see some of their sad colors, yet they sell big. That wouldn’t be a bad thing. Haha
Well, if it happens, hope it will be recorded with "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" as the background music. ROFL
