I know Mega live, Active Target, and Livescope are great and all for shallow water, but for this application..... nothing beats the original Panoptix PS-22 transducer for sharpshooting Lake Trout. Before this technology no one used structure scan or downview to fish deep water lake trout, they used 2d sonar. Better marks... easily mark fish up to 100' with good returns on bait and fish. Also way way less $$. Tip 6... if you have the ability, pick your days or go out at sunrise.... light winds is way easier for boat control! Great Video!
I like trolling for lake trout but want to start jigging this summer what model elliot rod is best for this do you have a model number average size lakers are 28 to 32 inchers occasional 36 fish are caught in my lake
Tell us how you really feel about MEGA LIVE !! Haha I feel the same, it sucks for deeper water, hopefully they fix that with an upgrade eventually. But they’ll probably make us buy another transducer
I have a 16.5 crestliner tiller and a 17.5 crestliner full windshield. I'll take the tiller for precise boat control every time. Full windshield is for the crappy weather days.
Tip 6: get yourself some of them fancy splash guards. I don’t have them and it is a pain trying to stay in one spot or moving backward into the wind. Great vid!
i've always had a minn kota terrova an thought i knew what boat control was UNTIL I went to the Ultrex . If you want total boat control the ultrex is hands down the way to go , great video ;
Bout time Clayton your killing me with video every 3 weeks we need to see more of you
Perfect way to relax after a long long weekend.
Love seeing the laker action!

I've been looking for a dedicated sharpshooting rod recently. This information came at a good time.
nailed it! such a simple way to fish lake trout and can be super productive!
Always good! Thanks Clayton! Enjoyed your live imaging critique??? Lol.

Could you use those tubes and jigs to catch pike and musky? Kind of like October tubes only a little smaller.
Do you strictly use forward facing on livescope when sharp shooting like this?
HEY Clayton , Hello and thumbs UP!!
Life is good...🍻
Nice!
Nice video.. what pole for mega live? Thanks

Would like to see a Bondy Bait video.
Have you tried running a powerhouse lithium battery? The 16v one is supposed to clear up the image even more for livescope
Oh man so wicked. Are you done guiding soon? Come on fall walleye with CSO
When is your next live?
My lvs34 max is 100ft, using 1oz VMC mooneye jigs and 3.3" keitech paddle tail. Any deeper than 100ft i lose my jig.
100ft is good!
100k subscribers coming soon!:)
Nice vid!!. Heading out to do that with new Livescope in Northern Ontario!! Congrats on 90k+ subs. You deserve more than that!!👍👍🐟🐟
Always love your videos but Jesus himself couldn't convince me to tie an fg knot for inland fish 😊. Alberto. Strong quick and slick.
You ever going to do videos without livescope or 360 imaging again?????
You mean like my last video?
❤️👊💪🎣
10 ounce frostbite rattle bait?!
That island isn’t very dark
