The most impressive thing here is you doing constant commentary about your rod and drag and lactic acid while reeling in a big fish. Meanwhile I am out there this morning just repeating “stay on the hook, stay on the hook, stay buttoned…” for the whole fight.
Another great video Clayton. If you are where I think you are I caught a 37" there last year. Very nice Lake trout up there and the smaller ones taste great too
Clayton I have to be honest, I love watching you fish with your livescope/sonar ice fishing, but I wish I could watch you catch fish without it too. Especially in the summertime.
Clayton you always put out some really good content 👌 I enjoy all your videos. I usually always fish for walleye but I do fish Lake Trout 2 or 3 times a year! You always pull in some pigs even in the winter! Keep putting them out!!!!
Nice day for lakers , epic you were able to get out and fish .. Our state created some program involved with someone were people couldn't even leave there suburban towns for some to even get on the water and fish for years now .... If it wasn't one thing they created another purposely lucky to live were you do!!! Keep rocking !!
I really enjoy tsunami slow pitch jigging rods for the giant tube, with a good fish on they load all the way through the handle giving you lots of leverage over a fish. They feels like a good fiberglass ice fishing rod.
I just ordered a LVS62. I’ve been using the PS30 which is pretty awesome for laker jigging deep too. We’ve been able to see our jigs as deep as 140’. I’m excited to try the Livescope XR.
wow man that was crazy, that last fish was just huge! nice working letting them go back to make more for next year. what was the soft touch net you were using? thanks for the work wonderful
expert! friend and i are going for big lake trout next month. ive learned so much from your vids. started watching your vids last winter as i was getting into ice fishing. you know your fish, and what it takes to get em! ive bought baits and rods from your recommendations. now ill go grab some of vthose tube baits. i was guessing and ounce and maybe two, now three! i assumed it takes a lot of weight to get down and keep that bait down, especially if its windy! thanks bro, so much great info, but also so much exciting content!
un-friken believable! that's big! Hey Clay can y compare L trout to Northers lb for lb? I guess I haven't caught enough Lakers, w PB at12 pounds there not as big in NYS finger lakes, but very tasty. I bet your arms were tired. Living a dream come true.
Not arguing or anything, just curious, why they are your favorite? Big pike prob easier to get, walleye taste the best, bass if one like to catch a lot. In your opinion why are Lakers the best? Awesome video! Lovin the open water vids but, won't lie can't wait for ice camping vids haha
So I have a question for Clayton and the subscribers. Lake Trout are a member of the salmon family correct? I fish for salmon in a lake in Michigan normally jigging a laser minnow 2 ounces jig. What I’m wondering is if anyone has the tube jig for salmon?? TIA
@ClaytonSchickOutdoors thank you. I do alot of open water jigging so I'm in a debate on which one would be best for the boat. Usually jigging 60-130fow
Watching this and cray is getting his butt kicked. And I'm here thinking he needs to jig for 20 plus bl king salmon to compare the fight cause the Lakers I catch on are great lakes mine being 31.6 bl didn't fight at all a 12bl king has a bigger fight in it
Never clicked a video faster
Your channel is severely underrated. You’ve helped me catch more fish than most channels
Literally a dream come true!!! Watching you slay em on my tubes!!! Great video buddy
Haha. Was watching it on my phone. Little guy goes "are you watching Clayton daddy, put it on the tv". Awesome.
Thanks for being you Clayton! ❤

Another banger of a vid Clayton!
So used to Clay having the bib on. Seeing shorts on ya is a good change of pace. Keep on keepin on!

Another great video Clayton. If you are where I think you are I caught a 37" there last year. Very nice Lake trout up there and the smaller ones taste great too

Was für ein herrlicher Angeltag🤙
Love to see it buddy!
The dude is over there crushing Lakers. Meanwhile, my Send It Baits is collecting dust. Ha ha love to see you back on the Lakers.
Awesome video a always Clayton
I’ve always wondered what lures to use open water fishing for lakers. Apparently the answer is the same as ice fishing, big ol tubes!
Hogzilla! Another awesome video, thanks for taking the time
Same here mitchell! Love these giant Lakers. Keep em commin Clayton+
Daaaaaang that was a BIG mama!!!
Can’t wait to get out laker fishing again!
Fantastic!!

I have the same life jacket, super comfortable, you hardly notice that you're wearing it.
If it ain't chartreuse, it ain't no use!!
Definitely the lake trout 🐐!
Big Show delivers again
Land of the giants

How are you liking the 62? I jig on my lake and I'm debating between the ps30 or 62
Lake trout are best smoked, caught on the ice.
wow man that was crazy, that last fish was just huge! nice working letting them go back to make more for next year. what was the soft touch net you were using? thanks for the work wonderful
Clayton....lakers....always good!
Creeping up on 100k subs buddy!
Sweet!

Def a Big Mama “heavy”
Keren gak pakai lama langsung di hajar 👍👍

I would like to know where you got the go pro mounted hat from? Really could use one
My pants got a little tight when I saw this video pop up....... October can't come soon enough.
Reeling in my pb laker and treating it like a 12" pike 😂

Great vid what lake are you on?
🍻
What net are you using????
What depth are you able to get that good of view at? Debating the 62 or ps30
@@caseyjackson5173 you’ll do a lot with the lvs 34 :)
@ClaytonSchickOutdoors thank you. I do alot of open water jigging so I'm in a debate on which one would be best for the boat. Usually jigging 60-130fow
@@caseyjackson5173 I would do the lvs 62 then if you are gonna be in that much water :)
@@ClaytonSchickOutdoors appreciate the feedback. I love your videos. Watching your livescope footage and clarity has me jealous and ready to upgrade
what is the name of the lake you are on?
Clayton would you share your settings for your live imaging..
Is that a garmin ?? Also how do you get the live scope so clear?
What lake is this? Id like to go there. Looks beautiful
When a 30” fish is small laker or not …😮
❤️👊💪🎣
In Ontario if all you have is inflatable life jackets they are required to be worn while fishing. Is that not true in other Canadian provinces?
That’s only if you don’t have a non-inflatable in the boat as well. If you have both you don’t need to wear it.

Where do I buy the the pole for panoptix
I would love all the info as well. Please !!
Link is in the description under ArcLab Motor Sports
@TheJenkins124 Thx, appreciate it.
Whats everyone's thoughts about live scope?
Would love to have, makes fishing easier, like any other tech. A learning curve. Just cant afford it at this time.
