Enhanced enemies and lethal Ai makes for a much harder challenge. Health boost and tactician plus just makes the enemies like sponge health but they are not smarter. So it just becomes a resource management challenge not as interesting.
These rules are amazing and most of them should honestly be the mandatory way to play. Consumables, infinite long rests and re-specs and ESPECIALLY barrelmancy are cheese that ruins the game. I just know some brainlet will come in and say "bUt JuSt DoN't UsE tHeM!111!!!!!!1!" and they're totally missing the point. Looking forward to part 2!
Nice ruling, I might use that in a future run. Right now, I'm using Stronger Bosses, Death March, Additional ennemies, Lethal AI, Tactician+ 100$ health and scaling with profiency but only for attack rolls and DC. I tried using the other scaling, but fights the takes so long and it's kinda boring. I prefer when we both hit each other. It makes the fights more dynamic. Also Additional ennemies is awesome. It adds new fights and some are interesting. It also adds new ennemy types and the fight fights with the goblins is brutal since your party sucks at that point xD Stronger bosses has an optional mod that gives other creatures an extra action. I was thinking of doing a run where I start at a higher level with a mod, but give ennemies an additional action. Monsters with multi attack will be brutal!
Nice! Difficulty mods will definitely affect the longevity of this game. Im a bit burned out from playing this game for so long and if not mods I probably wouldn't return so quickly. Im still testing rules and mods. It will take some time to balance it well. I like rule to ban consumables. It makes so you have to consider having a healer in your party. Otherwise everyone can chug basically unlimited healing potions, using bonus actions and don't care about resource management. Same go for haste. Can chug potion of speed or with that rule you have to consider having mage that will cast a buff.
@@sechu2 You do get more xp. You won't be level 12 though xD If it's not your first playthrough, you might not check every single corner since you kinda know what you need for the build you're going for. That means the additional ennemies will just balance out the ones you miss. The additional exp is welcomed though to match the additionnal difficulty ^^
Dude i love your builds!! i am currently planning out a solo run with these same mods (but hp is at 200 instead of 300) the class i rolled is trickery cleric so i might be screwed. Do you have any cool combos or tips i can try to make trickery cleric less bad..?
Cleric is good with Spirit Guardians spell that apply Radiating Orbs (Luminous Armour) and Reverberation (Gloves of Belligerent Skies). I started new run (I didnt recorded) with Light Cleric, Draconic Sorcerer, Ranger Hunter, Battle Master Fighter. Im starting act 3 and they were donig great I would only change fighter I think for mby Throw build or something else. Good Luck in your run!

Wow, canceling Astarion's end turn to move him into range of the Redcap so your main character has advantage, big brain move.
Now that should be a worthy run!

Mano tu é incrível, sério
Is Lethal AI more of a challenge than immersive AI?
i've never played this game before, but i think A.I Lethal and plus are awesome, it must be really hard for a normal person.

that gnoll fight was insane. also, is haste from gear allowed?
Yes I will be using all gear abilities. Its cool to juggle gear to get the most of their power.

Having ANY respec is cheese. There is no respec in D&D 5e.
Then you are forced to play with preset characters with bad stats. I initially played like that, but I didn't liked it.
you have to use some amount of 'cheese' to do a run with this kind of difficulty setting.
