I'm a beach, the ocean with waves that are all different, never one exactly like it before and never will be again, they're here briefly and gone. I like the blues, greens, browns and grays, the white froth and the clear. To each their own but, I think the sense of wonder is the same. If there's something that does it for you, you like to see that excitement in others. I think with Noraly it's that, how alive she is and that she constantly reinforces the message that people are good. All of the information she shares and the way she does it kicks a persons quest for knowledge into high gear. All in all, we're better humans because of Itchy Boots.

I'm really grateful for that. And for this particular video, the word spectacular would describe it well. :)
What an interesting place! I have never seen such a thing. Just as I was wondering to myself -"how does that happen..?" Noraly gives the explanation in terms I can understand. Then she shows both sides of the area - with water and without. I love the contrast, the beautiful landscapes while riding and the sense of space, so wide open and natural. The drone shots are the icing on the cake - stunning! What a great adventure Noraly. I love your joy in these places, it is clear that you truly love what you are doing!

In the mid to late seventies I was stationed at various military camps in N. Ovambolands border with angola. Exceptional country and amazing people, with an awesome and incredible fauna and flora.

That guy really didn't want any motorcyclists tearing up the sand dunes did he ? Could have been a bit more reasonable about it but I suppose he was expecting an argument or at least a strong protest ! All he had to say was 'sorry, motorbikes not permitted, but you are welcome to leave it here and look for a car to take you into the park'. Thanks for the beautiful footage Noraly, I have so many spectacular desktop backgrounds from your travel videos and my collection is growing all the time !
All of Namibias national parks do not allow motorcycles in. I can understand off road bikes being a problem, but adventure bikes would stay on the roads just like the cars do. They should make an exception for adventure/road bikes and just ban off road riding, maybe impose a hefty fine if someone does. They are excluding a large contingent of potential travellers from entering these amazing places.
There is a parking lot near the dunes and what the guard said is not allowed to ride up to the parking area. There is no question of riding or driving on the dunes. The dunes are protected ares
What an interesting video! The music accompanying your visit to the Dali-esque Deadvlie was perfectly appropriate. Impressive, Noraly! Thanks for sharing.

Spent a night in Solitaire. Incredibile atmosphere. And the sky at night is just unforgettable. The apple pie served at the local cafeteria is considered one of the best of the Africa continent 😃 !
Namibia is absolute magic and Noraly you are a master of your craft. The coastal town Swakopmund with its German colonial-era buildings, renowned Etosha National Park’s salt pans, the Skeleton Coast and the indigenous Himba in Damaraland are just a few of its highlights that I can't wait to see. Drony is out again ... incredible landscape shots (one of the best) ... you did alot of walking ... amazing once we're off the bike we realize how out of shape we are...great how nature works with the pods ... be careful, stay safe ...
Add the red Martian sky in those shots in Deadvlei instead of blue and Noraly could very well have been on the surface of Mars. There is just something about those trees that speaks of this fragility in all life within our world. Thank you for sharing all of this!!!
Beautiful Ariel shots Noraly , beautiful narration too ... Your passion for geology .. great addition , never dreamt of seeing so many places in many countries
I bet you wanted to tare up those sand dunes on Savana but it's for the best you didn't, that type of soft sand ruins your chain and sprockets real quick not to mention chopping out your wheel bearing seals, the scenery in this video is just spectacular and once again Noraly has uncovered a hidden Gem that we would never have known about and what a treat for the eyes.

Solitaire looks like an US country town from an old westen movie!
Pitty she did not show the multiple updates (by hand) on the population board
Yeah, but with a few junk vehicles instead of wagons.
Spent a night in Solitaire. Incredibile atmosphere. And the sky at night is just unforgettable. The apple pie served at the local cafeteria is considered one of the best of the Africa continent 😃 !
It reminds me a bit of Coober Pedy in Australia with the scrap lying around.
Moose McGregor aka Percy Cross passed away a couple of years ago. Moose invented the apple pie and put Solitaire on the map. Still miss him.
That desert 10:35 reminded me of the cover to Muse's origin of symmetry album. A great album, and an amazing video Noraly!
amazing namibian landscape, reason for travelling there; besides very attractive voice at 17:23
Namibia is absolute magic and Noraly you are a master of your craft.
The coastal town Swakopmund with its German colonial-era buildings, renowned Etosha National Park’s salt pans, the Skeleton Coast and the indigenous Himba in Damaraland are just a few of its highlights that I can't wait to see. Keep it rolling girl. Stay safe and well.
Then just like that, Namibia gets record number of visitors in 2021... Namibian tourism officials are puzzled ...
fyi, I got recommended an ad for travel Namibia. For remote desert suites for a modest $1700/ double occupancy. Guess I’ll sleep in my jeep if I go.
@@blueman5924 $100 Namibian is only about United States $6.50 so its only about $67 American dollars for the luxury accommodation you are talking about. There are many much cheaper but excellent places and lots of specials on as well.
for real tho im going this sunday lol
So true. I just went last month. It was awesome! I’m very glad I went. So many amazing sights & experiences, great memories.
Love the education in your videos! Thank you
I love how at the end, you were so friendly to that officious guard who had been so blunt to you on the way in. Love conquers all.
Remember, that "officious" guard is trying to express himself in a language that is not his home language and so is really just saying things in a simple way. Instead of commenting on his "bluntness", marvel at how well he expresses himself in another language😉
@@eleanorjames1118 that's very fair. Thank you for the reminder.
@@eleanorjames1118 I still thought he was rather rude but Noraly handled it magnificently
I thought Namibia was just a desert. I knew nothing of it. Then watched seal rescue and was confused. Now Noraly you teach us all. So glad you took us all there with you. Thankyou
Hey Noraly, thanks for sharing the neat drone shots of the sand dunes and the park. Enjoy the journey and stay safe.
Good to see you are still enjoying Namibia.
Namibia still have a lot to show you.
Archeologist 3021: "And this footprint, according to legends, was left by the ancient European goddes of travel, who was known as Noraly, which is said to translate to "urge to travel" or "restless boots", we´re not really sure..."
And it is said that if you say the name "Noraly" you will gain access to all of the world's sights, and that when she came here, she forgot to say her name, and that's why she was not permitted to ride her mount into the dunes.
In 1000 years from now, the guard is still standing there telling archeologists they are not allowed in the park on their motorcycles
and her breakfast on the given day was... some croissants + coffee as clearly visible from the footprints
A fist bump and a "see you next time" is reassuring indeed😊
Paisagens fantásticas! Obrigado por nos mostrar. Saudações 🇧🇷🏍
Nothing stops Noraly from seeing what she wants to see.... no bikes allowed - no problem - Noraly hitches a ride! Very cool
The drone footage adds so much more to the videos and being able to get a larger perspective of the landscape. Thanks for the drone use!
The solitude you enjoy.. I am so envious.. safe travels
Always good to catch up with Noraly!!
Noraly
I LOVE the geology lessons in your videos!!! I love geology myself. FANTASTIC stuff Lady!! The history of the Earth is mesmerizing! Thank you for this fantastic video!
Ride SAFE and BE safe Lady!!!
🙌👏👌✌🖖🤙👍👋🙂
Noraly I might be a bit repetitive but this was a great episode as were all the others. Your drone shots were incredible.
There she is !! Love that shadow riding ... great desert road music, well done ... 2 x fill ups ... what an odd looking accommodations ... the dunes looks like something from a mars landing film. I can see it now, thousand of years later, the cry out, "hey, i found a Noraly boot print!!" .. Drony is out again ... incredible landscape shots (one of the best) ... you did alot of walking ... amazing once we're off the bike we realize how out of shape we are...great how nature works with the pods ... be careful, stay safe ...
Surreal. I think I spotted the footprints of those giants in that clay, the ones who stacked up the rocks you showed in a previous episode. 😀
Add the red Martian sky in those shots in Deadvlei instead of blue and Noraly could very well have been on the surface of Mars. There is just something about those trees that speaks of this fragility in all life within our world. Thank you for sharing all of this!!!
If Nasa just want to drive over the dunes with their rover, hopefully we will see the same trees on the other side.
