Thoroughly enjoyed this detailed and visually stunning tour of Vienna! The narration was captivating and the footage truly brought the city's charm to the forefront. This video truly allows viewers to experience the city's cultural richness and architectural beauty. Seeing the magnificent gardens, museums, and galleries was a delight, and the transport and culinary tips were a bonus for any future travellers. Can't wait to see more of your travel adventures!

Great “speed review” of Vienna. One of my favourite cities ! Agree with the recommendation of the metro system. Really cheap and efficient. For art lovers, the iconic “The Kiss” by Klimt is housed at the Belvedere. Highly recommend short break of a few days to take in the Christmas markets. Absolutely wonderful, and ideal to take in the many stunning buildings and museums. For classical music lovers, one of the concerts is also a must.

Thanks for watching. Klimt is a bit too 'bling' for me. Vienna is definitely a city we will return to. It would be interesting to compare the Christmas markets in Vienna to Birminghams Frankfurt market!

Very good. I have to say, these videos look very professional. Disappointed not to see it in the evening though to see the night life. You need to go back.

I haven't been to Vienna, only travelled through Austria on a train during Inter rail in 1985. I think it looks fab, your video has done it justice and I would like to go. Thanks for all the explanations of the tube, that is really clear and useful. I didn't realise there were that many museums in Vienna either. Looking forward to your next vlog.

Loved the whirlwind tour of Vienna, Giles and Lisa. The museum was spectacular and the art exquisite! Thanks so much for bringing us along and showing others how they might best get around. Would love to attend a concert there!

Amazing city! I've been there ages ago, but still remember all these amazing museums and obviously the St. Stephen's cathedral. Nicely presented! 😍😍👍👍

Loved seeing Vienna again :) Wish we'd got to Schonbrunn Palace it seemed too complicated, Had a trip booked when we booked our first river cruise, which then got cancelled 5 times so we gave up and went with TUI! Next time we'll get there, :)

Schõnbrunn was beautiful, but we didn't have the time to go in. Time is a precious commodity on a river cruise! 😀 Thanks for your support. It's much appreciated.

Hi from Perth, Australia. It was lovely to see Vienna. I was there in 1976 and I've never forgotten how lovely it was. We were on a European bus trip. Of course, back then, we had to change our currency in every country. This was even before credit cards were a thing. I've been enjoying your channel.

Thank you so much for watching and commenting Joan. It is brilliant to think that you are the other side of the world and enjoying our little channel. It is comments like yours that will keep us going! ❤️ Vienna is on our ever increasing list of 'must go back to' destinations. I hope Perth is treating you well. Happy travels.

@4:00 also: the _North_ tower is actually the better option. 1. there is an elevator, 2. as it was never finished the views are far better and not obstructed by masonry (in the south tower all visitors have to scramble around a few windows, whereas the north tower has an open-air area).
@14:25 the 5.60€ (now 5.80€) ticket is the "day ticket" (valid from the time of purchase until 01:00 in the night, i.e. less than 24 hours, hence cheaper) - it hides behind the 'visitors in Vienna' button.
Btw. if you stay for longer, be aware that the same logic applies to the 'week' vs. '7-day' tickets; the former is valid for a _calendar_ week, i.e. Monday-Sunday, so if you arrive late in the week it's a waste of money. There is also a 8-day pass, which can also be used by multiple people at the same time; it's basically just a discounted collection of day tickets that can be validated individually (and the dates don't even have to be consecutive; ideal if you plan to do day trips to other cites).
