The thing which hits really hard about Jon being the legitimate son of a Rhaegar+Lianna marriage (which was a love match)...obviously, the whole 'Rhaegar kidnapped and violated Lianna' thing is NOT true -- therefore Robert Baratheon's entire reason for starting the war against the Targarians was false. We also learn over the course of the show that Rhaegar was actually a great guy and would have been an excellent king (according to those who knew him, like Ser Barriston). So really, the mad king needed to go (he was a dangerous lunatic) and Rhaegar would have followed in the line of succession. Robert didn't need to cause a huge war over something that never happened. Imagine if Dany's and Jon could have been raised in Kings Landing as future rulers...the possibilities are endless, but the loss of life during Robert's Rebellion and the wars between the 5 kings wouldn't have happened. In a past season, I can’t remember who said it, but it may have been the witch lady who turned Khal Drogo said something about the grass dying and turning white. In my opinion that was told in reference to the long night
I found it amusing that because of the way they costumed Baelish, that lost shot of him looks like a dead mockingbird laying there. But RIP to Peter, pound4pound the Game's best player, given where he started and where he ended. This was also Cersei's best season, and Sansa's, which isn't an accident. We see them use everything that forged them in this season, the last season before the events become bigger than the characters.
I believe you guys would like stranger things it's great but there are a few moments that will probably be scary... Also love the marvel reactions and super looking forward to seeing your daredevil reactions on TH-cam ...
It took a powerful magical being to destroy a powerful magical structure. Think the Night King can see things like Bran, knew Dany would be flying up there with her dragons and decided to wait when he could have easily had his minions attack Jons party. He could have froze that lake if he wanted to. And finally we see Targaryen's doing what they do best. 😆
Zaldrīzes buzdari iksos daor- A dragon is not a slave. Daenerys speaks this line twice in the series, that I can recall, and Amelia Clark mispronounces one word both times. She moves the "s" in iksos, saying "iskos" instead. Just something I noticed.
The Hound was talking about himself coming for The Mountain. Not the Lord of Light lol. Just cuz he can see into the fire now doesn't mean he's a worshipper. The scene between Jon and Theon is some of my favorite of the whole series. Jon gave him the fatherly advice Ned would have given him. And forgiveness.
They did Littlefinger so damn dirty. If it wasn't for him, Sansa would have killed immediately after Joffrey's murder. Then he saved Jon Snow and the Wildling army and captured Winterfell for her. What an ingrate.
One of my all-time favorite series is from Australia. It is called "Mr. In-between". If you can find it, it is most definitely worth it to react to. My personal opinion, of course, but I do stand by my words. Take care.
This is my favorite episode. The summit in the dragon pit, the trial and execution of Little Finger, the reunion and separation of the Lannisters, Theon’s redemption arc, the reveal that Jon is Aegon Targaryen, and the ice dragon destroying the wall. So much material.
The _really_ scary bit is that it almost doesn't _matter_ how big the Army of the Dead is. Any time you fight them, some of your soldiers will die. And every one of them that dies, rises up into the army. So every time you fight them, you get weaker, and they get stronger. In a lot of wars, you could get to pretend as a third party you could just let those two fight each other, and then you only have to fight the winner. And the winner will be seriously weakened because of it, so it'll be easy for you. But not here; if the dead win, they'll be *stronger* because of the fight.
No doubt Middlefinger was the most dangerous and most adept player in the Game of Thrones, and the greatest villain in the show, even more so than Joffrey or Ramsey, and at least as clever as Tyrion. Although it's interesting that George R.R. Martin, at one point in the early development of the story, declared Tyrion as the villain of the story. Of course, that was way back when he planned a love story between Jon and Arya with Tyrion as her rejected suitor, and jealous enemy of Jon. Middlefinger was even responsible for Robert's Rebellion. All evidence point to it being Middlefinger who lied to Brandon, telling him Rheagar had "kidnapped" Leanna, when he likely knew good and well she went with him willingly and of her own free will.
This I agree Little Finger went out in a way that made sense for him as well as Sansa. He taught her too well. That being said that’s one of the few endings for characters that make sense. I know there are a small group of people who defend the ending (I mean I like how it looks and I enjoyed the first 3 episodes) but even George RR Martin was frustrated with Dan& Dave (the show runners) as well as HBO with how they ended the series and the endings they gave for many of the characters. If George, the guy responsible for this incredible story up to that point, also hated how they chose to end the series (decisions characters made, the abrupt change to characters, characters being incredibly stupid for no reason, how characters ended, and how who ended up on the throne ended up there).
Really enjoying watching this series again with you fine folk, thank you. I think back to when you started this series, sometimes saying how stupid you felt not being able to keep up with it... I can assure you... I have little doubt you have this series/story best worked out, more than most I am sure...certainly more than me anyway. I was having a terrible day before now, this cheered me up. Thank you :)

But RIP to Peter, pound4pound the Game's best player, given where he started and where he ended.
This was also Cersei's best season, and Sansa's, which isn't an accident. We see them use everything that forged them in this season, the last season before the events become bigger than the characters.
Good riddance Petyr Baelish. 😂
He was a great villain though.
not really, hes been an idiot since season 4/5, and does nothing but give cringe fortune-cookie esque speeches that don't mean anything.
I believe you guys would like stranger things it's great but there are a few moments that will probably be scary...
Also love the marvel reactions and super looking forward to seeing your daredevil reactions on TH-cam ...
we love it !
finally someone else who has the same favorite type of weather as me! i finally feel heard
The dark clouds and rain is such a break from the norm
@@TheOctobersReact fr! yall mentioned you’re in the south, im from savannah. i treasure any day of the year that’s under 80
It took a powerful magical being to destroy a powerful magical structure. Think the Night King can see things like Bran, knew Dany would be flying up there with her dragons and decided to wait when he could have easily had his minions attack Jons party. He could have froze that lake if he wanted to. And finally we see Targaryen's doing what they do best. 😆
Every time Arya gets a kill I think she thinks "can I? Can I keep their face?"
Yeah yeah, great season. I would recommend Shogun. It's a very interesting watch
I like Brienne of Tarth, because she is the only one who is truly honorable. Others are flawed, including Ned.
Y'all RIPPIN' through this!
One of the coldest lines in the series IMO.... "My sister asked you a question"
I think Littlefinger was the best character too...which makes the way he died so unsatisfying and weak.
Dialogues have gone down the drain already.. especially the great banter. And Theon is a top 3 if not my favorite even.. ❤
That conversation between Sansa and Arya is one of my favourite of the entire show 🥺
They did Littlefinger so damn dirty. If it wasn't for him, Sansa would have killed immediately after Joffrey's murder. Then he saved Jon Snow and the Wildling army and captured Winterfell for her. What an ingrate.
“Grumpkins and snarks” - Cersei 😂
this one was in TV on jULY 2017.
Next one in April 2019.
This is definition of HYPE :D
that feeling will disappear as soon as you watch the entire show. It really went down the toilet fast.
Loving the shirts today, especially Mrs. October’s.
Baelish thought he was manipulating Sansa and Arya but he was the one getting played by the 3 Stark kids. I loved it!
John was the most honorable man on the nights watch. He always did what was right. Just like Ned stark.
i told ya form the very beginning when ya were hating on Sansa, lol - she is the best character.
@@IamGrootOG Semantics. But I edited it.
@MrOctoberWuf thanks, it was ingrained in me at a young age to be perfect. My bad, I will erase it tho
They can't even be hyped because they're dead 😂😂😂
Cersei : How dare you try to take your home back with the most power weapon in the world 😂
The army of the dead maybe can't swim, but they don't need to breathe. Walking on the bottom of the sea is an option
A series that is greatly under-rated is 'Black Sails'. It has some of the best dialogue, right to the very end.
Another upload so soon guys I think you're spoiling us❤
Heck yea! All the blindsides in last seasons Survivor was fire! Great analogy LOL
everyone on the jury had an idol almost lol
Yeh the arrow story!! That confirms littlefinger’s demise..
I love watching this with you two. I could totally see us as friends! ❤
we are friends!
And that's why Arya is my favorite character.
Bran knows everything that ever happened ... but it took Sam to let him know about the wedding. lol
Imagine waiting almost two years for the next episode. It was torture lol.
The wait for almost 2 years was agony 🐉
LETS GOOOOO October fam we’re really eating right now it’s so good to be us 😂😂
Really enjoying watching this series again with you fine folk, thank you. I think back to when you started this series, sometimes saying how stupid you felt not being able to keep up with it... I can assure you... I have little doubt you have this series/story best worked out, more than most I am sure...certainly more than me anyway. I was having a terrible day before now, this cheered me up. Thank you :)
