I get it Kumbi! I really do! I’ve been driving a Taigo for the past 4 months and I get it, the VW drive train is unmatched. Many people wondered why not go Chinese again at that price since we already have the 3rd gen Haval H6. Best decision ever, I’m even considering driving to East London in the Taigo next weekend, instead of the H6 which is more comfortable for that distance. You’re right in saying the Chinese haven’t got the mapping right yet and that’s why I hardly drive the H6, since getting the Taigo, my wife also agrees with me that the VW drive is far more superior. I was gonna wait for this T-Cross but learnt the sunroof won’t be an option, later realised I don’t exactly need the sunroof anyway coz I have a small baby but was too late 😭🤣 I always enjoy your reviews, keep going mate! 🎉
Funnily enough the T-Cross does come with a sunroof option in the Americas region. I’d really like a sunroof on one here in the UK - it’s a shame it’s not an option.
I think car reviewers need to be honest. This has to be priced like a Magnite or slightly above. It doesn't look like an R500k car. It's highly overpriced. Chinese brands are appropriately priced.
@@kumbimoncars I didn't say you talking nonsense. R100k difference is a lot. No Magnite reaches R500k. R100k is a lot if you add it to a car at purchase. Korean, American and European cars are highly priced and we need to be honest about it.
@@siya610 which is a lot for a t-cross... R580k in total is roughly close to R10k a month. There's nothing rude about my statement, a lot of car reviewers are not honestly touching on the pricing issue and it's misleading to consumers.
Since I drive the R line T-cross 2021 model , and I’m looking forward to upgrading it to the one in the video as my one is a manual😢,thank you for the video ❤
As a gent, i would get this car in black. Polo is high risk and i also know someone close to me who has a polo. So would definately get this over a polo.
No air vents for the passengers in the back - VW, guys, seriously. Also we're in 2024 and a reverse camera is still an optional extra, so is wireless Apple CarPlay. At this price, they are taking us for a ride. And this ridiculousness goes all the way up to the Tiguan 2023 (pre-facelift).
For the price, relative to what it offers, the T-Cross falls behind its relative competitors. You're better-off getting it as a demo or second-hand with low mileage. Many people who tend to review this car are often biased because of the brand that is VW. It's a well-established brand after all compared to the rising Asian alternatives. However, as of late, like many German brands, VW has been slipping in the market. As a consumer, you're not really getting good value for the money you pay anymore, like you used to.
@@kgomotsomolokoane356 yep aesthetically too the Puma wins i really never felt the T Cross it and the Taigo are not necessary. How many Polo variants must VW produce the T Roc is enough.

Yes it does but unfortunately they can't fit in a sunroof because of the roof shape & position of the roof rails. If any, a normal sunroof will be able to fit. VW only does Panoramic only 😢
I’m sorry you felt that way. Maybe I just really like the vehicle and it projected in the video. Because it just doesn’t make sense why one would buy a polo R Line
I think the idea was Toureg for Dad, Tiguan for Mom , T-roc for Son and T-crose for Daughter. But with such prices only Dad will be having a car and that will be the T-Cross😂😂😂

A Magnite is literally the same price. Maybe look at pricing before you think I’m talking nonsense.
@kumbimoncars wow that was rude, BTW a top spec magnite is R410k while a top spec Tcross fetches R530k plus without options almost 580 fully equipped

FYI there is no panoramic sunroof option on any models incl the R Line
Noted.
There is outside of Europe.
I mean, non of them qualify for that price, you can get lexus ES/EX for that pricw and with extended warranty plan, it will outlast all the VWs
The car look very much better outside

It has not been.
