Cars and smart phones should be fitted with some sort of two way technology to prevent you from using your device for anything other than navigation, or energency service calls while your car is in motion. That would prevent all these AIR HEADS from checking their social media, or texting while driving. Also, dick heads who drive older BMW's that do not have the latest safety tech, should be forced to drive road awareness simulators every six months, to make them aware of their selfish dangerous driving habits. The same goes for Audi and Range Rover drivers too, cos they are just as bad ususlly. And traffic lights in accident blackspots, should maybe be fitted with cameras that are triggered when ARSE HOLES jump red lights, with convictions carrying fines of at least £1000. And if offenders don't pay, then they should face statutory driving bans, and potential prison sentences.

iPhones do they detect movement and also detect if they are connect to car Bluetooth and then give warning that phone can’t be used because your driving unless you tell it you’re not driving and I think if then you crash and you’ve been caught on phone I’m sure police I.T investigation can check and detect if the driving mode was turned off and before people say no they can’t they can because they can check any activity on an iPhone going back several years

Love it! Better road surfaces? "watch out darling, there's some road surface in the pothole!". You have one job to do, that is to drive! no multi tasking (including playing with satnav). I do not smoke, eat or drink when driving. If I have a passenger I will talk with them but never take my eyes off the road. In my own opinion there are too many buttons on steering wheels!
I do agree people get more aggressive in cars. I always think people driving on higher speed motorways and dual carriageways find it difficult to adjust slower on built up roads where more thought and politeness is needed. Its difficult to adjust for them or they dont want to so speed and impatient

My Friends daughter was distracted when driving and drifted into oncoming traffic she died instantly as did the innocent driver of the car she hit. 6 months before she had, had a baby who will never know her mother
My best friend is a really good driver but he was hit and but luckily they crashed into the passenger side and no one was in it he was in the driver's seat if there had been someone in the passenger seat they definitely would have been killed

A glorified video game,. As many of us have experienced the real thing, the massive G-forces, the dirt , debris flying about...it "wouldn't work" for me, & I suspect many others as well. Do you jump when somebody pops a balloon behind your back?, then you are easily spooked....working in a loud & unpredictable environment as I have in an auto-shop....you lose that "spook factor".

I'd guess you are "one of those"...if you want to classify me as "exceptional", OK...I'm exceptional then. Do tell, have you ever been in an accident? Myself, twice getting "rear-ended", another rolled & left hanging upside down. Do you think I didn't take mental notes of the experiences? The violence among others stands out, the G-loads in particular....& no, I wouldn't be "tricked" by a video-game. Yes, it can happen to anyone, that's the surprise factor...I'm never complacent, perhaps it's the fact I also ride motorcycles, & the situational awareness needs to be supreme, or you won't live long. Riding since 1982, five bikes...I think I got it down...
I've just come across this. I am the driver of the simulator. It was insane how immersive. I was driving it for about 5 hours before the 'accident' and at the beginning even felt motion sickness. I had no idea that I was going to be made to crash it; I thought that I was testing out a simulator. So when I crashed it, I really had crashed it and felt real remorse, and fear over the damage I caused and all that was totally genuine. Also, unfortunately, I have since been in a car accident, rear ended at 60 mph whilst stationary, with my children in the back, so although fear for the safety of my children was immeasurable compared to the worry over the damage I caused in this, the physical reactions, like shakiness, were actually very similar.
@@nicolaostlerhealthandfitne5513 I'm hoping your recent rear-ender didn't hurt you or your kids...60 MPH is kinda the upper limit on survivability...My own pair of rear-enders wasn't nearly that fast, the roll-over was quite illuminating. Did you happen to notice when you got hit from the back, just how the foam in the seat compresses completely & your body is contacting solid metal? Weird. Since long ago, I created a habit of tightening my seatbelts much more than many find :comfortable..perhaps that "saved me" when I did my rollover, since the roof crushed down some three inches from my head. Todays cars don't have that ability to tighten your seatbelts, they just have those silly "Inertia reels"...some automakers have tiny explosives, so called "Pretensioners" that are tied into the airbags & the seatbelts instantly 'squeeze you into the seat'. Frankly, if you are fully intent on keeping everyone "safer", there exists aftermarket seatbelts which are far better than the factory offerings.

Cars and smart phones should be fitted with some sort of two way technology to prevent you from using your device for anything other than navigation, or energency service calls while your car is in motion. That would prevent all these AIR HEADS from checking their social media, or texting while driving.
Also, dick heads who drive older BMW's that do not have the latest safety tech, should be forced to drive road awareness simulators every six months, to make them aware of their selfish dangerous driving habits. The same goes for Audi and Range Rover drivers too, cos they are just as bad ususlly. And traffic lights in accident blackspots, should maybe be fitted with cameras that are triggered when ARSE HOLES jump red lights, with convictions carrying fines of at least £1000. And if offenders don't pay, then they should face statutory driving bans, and potential prison sentences.

iPhones do they detect movement and also detect if they are connect to car Bluetooth and then give warning that phone can’t be used because your driving unless you tell it you’re not driving and I think if then you crash and you’ve been caught on phone I’m sure police I.T investigation can check and detect if the driving mode was turned off and before people say no they can’t they can because they can check any activity on an iPhone going back several years

A glorified video game,. As many of us have experienced the real thing, the massive G-forces, the dirt , debris flying about...it "wouldn't work" for me, & I suspect many others as well. Do you jump when somebody pops a balloon behind your back?, then you are easily spooked....working in a loud & unpredictable environment as I have in an auto-shop....you lose that "spook factor".
@Ross Bourne The surprise factor has a lot to do with it...as I asked, how high would YOU jump if poked with something sharp, say a pencil?

Do tell, have you ever been in an accident? Myself, twice getting "rear-ended", another rolled & left hanging upside down.
Do you think I didn't take mental notes of the experiences? The violence among others stands out, the G-loads in particular....& no, I wouldn't be "tricked" by a video-game.
Yes, it can happen to anyone, that's the surprise factor...I'm never complacent, perhaps it's the fact I also ride motorcycles, & the situational awareness needs to be supreme, or you won't live long. Riding since 1982, five bikes...I think I got it down...
I've just come across this. I am the driver of the simulator. It was insane how immersive. I was driving it for about 5 hours before the 'accident' and at the beginning even felt motion sickness. I had no idea that I was going to be made to crash it; I thought that I was testing out a simulator. So when I crashed it, I really had crashed it and felt real remorse, and fear over the damage I caused and all that was totally genuine. Also, unfortunately, I have since been in a car accident, rear ended at 60 mph whilst stationary, with my children in the back, so although fear for the safety of my children was immeasurable compared to the worry over the damage I caused in this, the physical reactions, like shakiness, were actually very similar.
@@nicolaostlerhealthandfitne5513 I'm hoping your recent rear-ender didn't hurt you or your kids...60 MPH is kinda the upper limit on survivability...My own pair of rear-enders wasn't nearly that fast, the roll-over was quite illuminating. Did you happen to notice when you got hit from the back, just how the foam in the seat compresses completely & your body is contacting solid metal? Weird. Since long ago, I created a habit of tightening my seatbelts much more than many find :comfortable..perhaps that "saved me" when I did my rollover, since the roof crushed down some three inches from my head. Todays cars don't have that ability to tighten your seatbelts, they just have those silly "Inertia reels"...some automakers have tiny explosives, so called "Pretensioners" that are tied into the airbags & the seatbelts instantly 'squeeze you into the seat'. Frankly, if you are fully intent on keeping everyone "safer", there exists aftermarket seatbelts which are far better than the factory offerings.
Even professional F1 drivers use video games to do testing, so there.
