Thank you for the insight..I have been hearing you mention lot about AI and IT stuff. I am curious to know how are the opportunities for English speaking jobs in Core domain like Mechanical and Aerospace.

There are some options in mech/aerospace as well. However, there is more local comptn in these fields from local engineers. Also, lot of old drawings and documents / books etc are still in German. So without knowing German - it might be tough.
There are cos like Tesla near Berlin and Aerospace in Hamburg - they do hire English speaking people.

What would you advise someone who does not qualify for an English taught masters programme in Germany based on their grades ? What are some other alternatives for them to study in Germany or other European countries which have lower tuition fees and doesn't ask for a very strict cutoff grades?

Apply to lower grade public uni in Italy or Germany. Germany has become very popular with Indian students offlate - so tough comptn. However, Italy is still good.
Get studies done in Italy and find job in Nordics, UK (other English speaking areas) afterwards.

You can target top unis in Italy, France or Poland or Denmark.
Germany is becoming more competitive and very popular amongst Indian students.
