This is funny cuz it’s recorded pre Reno nerf to 10 mana. But ngl that was kinda a good thing for genn decks cuz now they can run him without taking up a slot in ETC for it, I hit legend last month and this months reset I win streamed straight to diamond 5 only 2 losses with even death knight control with Reno and rainbow runes

Can we all just briefly appreciate how Rarran created an even Warrior, put E.T.C in to get odd cards of which he picked Reno, then played Reno turn 9, thus getting a new Hero power and removing any advantage of even warrior? We here are thinking in 3 dimensions, meanwhile Rarran is at least at 5. Maybe even 6.
you can easily replace that power if you need to.

I haven't played in years but I still somewhat pay attention to the rotations and metas and stuff anyways. It is like a train wreck that I can't look away from.

P.S. They could make this card 9 or 10 mana and there's a chance it won't be broken. Still, I think an effect like this should never be in the game. It's a super strong "for the rest of the game" effect that has little counterplay to it with little needed setup and deck building limitation. To me it felt like Shudderwock all over again.

Because of Rarran I came back for Workshop and was having a lot of fun with Highlander Shaman. Won't be back until Brann is either out of standard or rendered useless lmao

Learning league is such a nightmare compared to literally every other MOBA out there. Not being able to select another player's character and read their abilities is an incredibly detrimental oversight. How am I meant to know what all these characters do that I'm playing with or against. Everytime I come up against a new champion in my lane, I just instant lose the game simply because I can't read their abilities like you can in EVERY other MOBA in existence.
couldn't do this in Heroes of the Storm either. but 'lanes' were much *much* more fluid. people coming to help, or you playing extra defensive, wouldn't lose you the game the way it might in league
I can see that being a pain, but DOTA felt way worse to try and understand. Out of all the MOBA's i tried, it felt so unintuitive compared to League, Smite, or HOTS.
I assure you the reno warrior with 6 custom weapons, constant board wipes, x2 dirty rat, and 100 total health is not a problem.
You forgot the 2 combo card that destroy 18 of your opponent's...

Better than aggro decks killing you turn 6 imo. At least there’s a game. Warrior doesn’t even have a 50% win rate in standard after the nerfs.outside of Druid it’s just aggro decks RN

@@gorkashiro3600 if you go by solely its highest win rate representation whereas the class overall is sub 50% every class outside of demon hunter above it in win % have decks with higher win rates than Highlander warrior.
I played against a Hunter in Wild yesterday and he top-decked (on an empty hand btw) Quick Shot into Quick Shot into Kill Command for exact lethal. Felt like 2015 all over again.

I stopped playing around the end of festival of legends. I still like watching these vids. sometimes I think about getting back into hearthstone but then I see games like the paladin ones where priest just does the most insufferable shit imaginable and remember why I quit
So it is that single priest one that was insufferable, and not that same Brann warrior that Rarran encountered 3 times on this video?
For context, yes, he met 2 priests (which is already above average for most metas, because usually priest is on the lower popularity side of classes), but only one of those was hard control priest. And i can even understand why. These warriors are too many and too insufferable. Granted TNT on battlecry which destroys cards from hand and deck is not something that even priest can deal with.

Gosh man, I quit playing HS around 5 years ago (I was around during Even/Odd decks), and I have absolutely no idea what's happening in these matches. There's way too much stuff going on.
Odd Paladin is sick still, and Corridor Sleeper actually bangs with it.

I've always had Baku but never had a meta deck for him. Genn always eluded me and I couldn't afford to craft him back in the day and every game against him was a loss. Lol
New challenge idea: try to reach Legend but every time you match up against Druid you have to concede
Quik peek at hsreplay shows even warlock in the middle of tier 2 as the highest even/odd deck. So very balanced indeed

I am trying to construct a Wild Shudderwock deck that uses Hakkar, Da Undahtakah, and Hemet Jungle Hunter in order to make Shudderwock gain the corrupted blood deathrattle while simultaneously destroying all bloods in my own deck. It, of course, still needs duplication effects to keep bringing Shudderwock back.

I tried League of Legends once. I booted the game up, went into a bot match, saw the item shop, closed the game, and went to go play a game that didn’t expect 100 hours of homework from me

@@ci191hspa19x I wasn't trying to blame him, as someone who start playing back in March I'm stilling learning things but I don't think you have to master league to enjoy it, you should have fun while learning macro and champion kits and stuff like that

I started during their og reign, as a f2p, playing against odd paladin like 3 times in 5 games made me quit (there's other reasons i dislike HS like how slow and unresponsive it feels cause it takes forever for things to resolve, but it was the icing on the cake)

You just compared today's learning experience with the one during unexplored meta. Nowadays you will run into Smurfs occasionally instead of ash mids. My first ranked back in the day was tryndamere botlane with no jungle. You can't compare these times to today's smurf fest
Even Shaman? No, Even Shaman only became a thing in wild, in Standard Shaman had Shudder, and the other good battlecries were even... so no Even/Odd Shaman was playable.

When i think about it, other that riot putting a virus into LoL, blizard ruined most games for me. Hearthstone becoming this, overwatch getting executed, HoTS being thrown away.
I tried League after 5 years of not playing and it was the worst experience ever, all my reaction time was gone and I felt so bad.
Saaame, walking with the stupid mouse and hitting people with the same mouse feels like juggling 5 balls one handed, you just forget how stupid those controls are.
