I love the section at 2:39 onwards. It's such a long buildup, and I expected another "I'm gonna drink myself to death" to rhyme with "Bereft" or "Rest". It's almost a little hopeful until it hits you after "Left". That entire final section is waiting for the shoe to drop, first for that reiteration and for a finale during 3:50. It crashes with no fanfare, which I think works out great.
