It's not playback, what you hear at 1:38 are the backvocals she uses live to give more pathos to the performance and she uses these backvocals even in other performances such as West Coast or Money Power,Glory, but in this low quality video it's hard to get it even if you have never been at one of her concert before! she always sings live in her best or in her worst! :)
