Guys this means so much. This is a fucking song she used to sing alone on stage in front of bunch of people who didn't know who she was at all, in random bars in N-Y. She was totally unknown. And now she's playing it again, alone for a few minutes, like she was back then, but in front of thousands of people who adore her, lights in their hands. I could not agree more. This performance somehow showcases her (singing, songwriting, performing) talent, as well as her core persona, in its simplicity, vulnerability and authenticity. Funny how her appearance, delivery style and the show might change throughout the years - but her beautiful inside and rich inner world won't be eclipsed by that.
Her shyness makes her even more adorable and I imagine it must be amazing to hear a crowd sing her lyrics but Lana needs to understand that audiences pay to hear her beautiful voice live and not the tone-deaf jackass behind them.
