This 3D Tube Text Effect is Made With Illustrator’s Blend Tool

- In today's Adobe Illustrator tutorial we're going to have some fun using Illustrator's blend tool to create a cool three dimensional type effect that looks like it's made out of a long bendy tube. We'll then apply an effect which gives it somewhat of a furry appearance, making it a useful trick to keep in mind for whenever you might need to make some creative artwork for titles or logos.

Ok how do you get all your Swatches and colours on the right of the screen like that? You seem to have more gradient options than me, I am a real newbie but I am hoping I can try and pull this off with your step by step, just need to try and get my base settings to look the same as yours before I start! Anyones help would be much appreciated

Yes, dont‘t give your base circle an outline.

When I set mine to 1000 the end circle doesn't blend and you can notice it.

I recognized the problem. Actually in this video, he clicked on Pattern option, but if you go for Blend option, everything is perfect !
