Good vid, but just to add that there is no need to remove the floor board to remove exhaust. The Yamaha round cap removes with the 3 allen bolts, which allows the exhaust to come free before removing the rest of the housing........
+1 on not having to remove the floor board (even tho the manual says to do so). Also, no need to remove the mufflers. You can just remove the two header bolts at the cylinder, and the header where it slips on to the muffler. Then remove the three bolts that hold the "Yamaha" plate and this will give you just enough clearance to rotate and move the header pipe forward up and off.
nice vid, hope you still enjoy the bike, but you removed a K&N oil filter, good for 4/5 oil changes, and fitted a OEM filter, these bikes are a bugger, never had to do all this just to change the oil filter, but hey ho, all good fun,
So glad to see/hear that your bike ran when you were finished. Ha ha!

Great video. Thanks for uploading. This will help me out a lot.
Mine's a custom in black. Great bikes.
